I was brought up in the SDA church and I learnt about the feasts, Yeshua, and the Tetragrammaton from Adventists who had a conference at Andrews University a SDA university. It was easy for me to accept the feast as I was already keeping the 7 th day Appointed time. I saw His sign, Sabbath of weeks Pentecost, Sabbath of months, sabbath of years, sabbath of sabbath years. His name was easily proven by the preface of the Bible and a google search. It was a blessing finding people who believe and teach these truths. I pray that Adventist swould read Bachiochi’s book on the feast and also to understand that the Adventist Church does not have all the truth. Yehovah is still revealing truth to those who are seeking Him with all their hearts. So seek Yehovah and He will teach you.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning and all things were created through Him and apart from Him not one thing was created that has been created. He has always been. The Father wasn't in His Kingdom planning out the birth of a 1st century man because He was already in existence. This has been the plan all along. It might seem like splitting hairs, but in a movement that seems to lessen who Yeshua is, I think it's very important to make this clear. Yeshua was named after Joshua? Nah. Joshua was named after Yeshua.

He could have been called Ben Yehovah and that's an awesome name, but the given name Yehoshua DEFINES what the intention of the Father is. That is it is the Father's salvation and no one else's.

I am so excited. I ceased using Jesus years ago because His name is Yeshua from His Father. If we are planned from the beginning and have a plan I know, the most important son in creation was known by His Father's name. I have followed Nehemia and Keith for 20 years. Their information is life to the body and fulfilment of understanding how the "old" and "new" are so intertwined. If you don't understand the old you will NEVER under stand the new. Whoa... mine had "Josue" but the one in Chronicles was spelled "Jesue"! It's definitely super obvious with the second one! EDIT: Is this how "Jesus Saves" became a saying? It's actually redundant because it's already in his name Jesus. It's like saying "ATM Machine", you're accidentally repeating yourself. Why would anyone even try to translate the holy name?, this is why Muslims laugh at us. Just a comment to consider. After reading, several years ago, Hebrews 4:8 I noticed a biblical reference to the Book of Joshua. I went and read that reference, and nowhere in there did I see Joshua speaking of another day. In fact, it was merely Joshua reminding Israel to obey God and keep His Sabbath. So, I sat down and read Joshua the entire book a couple of times, and could not find anything in which he referenced another day, especially another day concerning a rest. I do believe, this is part of the deception of Jesus v Joshua, and Christianity has used this verse many times to say "see Joshua and the Law and the Land did not give Israel rest and he knew it, so he spoke of another day. A day when Jesus will give us rest." But I never see that in the scripture. I see Yeshua saying things like "I did not come to bring peace but a sword", "get a sword". We see in the "NT" encouragement of running the race and fighting the fight, and putting on armor, tilling soil and planting seeds, baring your cross, etc. We see prophecy of terrible judgement and persecution coming. In no way is this "restful". Yeshua, son of YHVH, spoke of another day, often, but I never see Joshua son of Nun doing that. Another amazing point following Hebrews 4:8, is the fact that the word rest or resting is used many times in this chapter, but Hebrews 4:9 states that for the believer there remains a Sabbath. It specifically states we still have a weekly Sabbath for those who believe, but again, the translators merely say "rest" as to not imply we should actually obey the Torah/Word/Yeshua. I believe the con or purposeful misleading concerning the Torah in the "NT" has been around for centuries, and not delegated only to the modern "translators" of the last 100 or so years. Asking for a friend: How do we know the Father's Name has pronounceable vowels, and how do we know the tetragrammaton is YHVH instead of YHWH?

I appreciate all you are doing but Jesus the Christ was not named after a man. His name was forordained even before Joshua was born. It is more likely that Joshua was named after Jesus than the other way around.

In olde Greek they write 'Jesu' or 'Iesu'. People need to understand in ole Greek that you cannot finish a word with a vowel 'u' without pronouncing an 'a' at the end. It is sounded as a soft 'a', but not written, so is still Yeshua, written 'Iesu' or 'Jesu'. I = J = modern English 'Y'. This is why it's painful listening to preachers and their 'say it, say it', while what they are teaching is false and based on a lack of knowledge of languages of olde, the olde grammar and how it was written and used. If you applied your claims to Shakespeare, you would never be able to read it.

Interesting homework! 2 Chronicles 31:15, Ezra 2:2, Nehemiah 3:19 results from six of on-hand Bibles: only the Complete Jewish Bible uses Yeshua; the other five have use "Jeshua" (altho "Joshua" was used once in Nehemiah 8:17).
