You have made a massive mistake. Doing this for me would have made you a symbol in the world of intellect and literature. It is so typical for someone like you to forget this. It is so typical for someone like you to use abbreviated words. I was prepared to open your world to my knowledge and share my stories and art, with you. You will forever regret the choice you just made, so I will offer to let you do this project again. If you do not, you will have to face the consequences.
For the Starshrooms, the model, texture, and animation files exist in Ultimate. Looking at the animation files, they *should* appear, they just don't for some reason. Also, the type of sprite that always faces the camera is called a "billboard".
Ok, I made a comment saying the Starshrooms don't appear but exist in the files. But I tested some more and turns out they *do* exist. You have to go into camera mode to see them behind the planet because they were shoved downwards below the planet so they didn't clip the camera. But this caused them to not be visible above the planet's horizon. There's also a yellow Starshroom that is off to the right of the camera, but you can only see it for a short time with the camera angled all the way that way.

@@RainTheWolfie 24:00 represents the end of the day. Saturday 20:00 to Saturday 24:00 is 4 hours. But Saturday 20:00 to Saturday 00:00 represents 164 hours. Sure you can write Saturday 20:00 to Sunday 00:00, but it's just easier with Saturday 20:00 to 24:00. The power of the 24 hour format is that you can refer to the start and end of the day with two different numbers. Never refer to the end of the day with 00:00. Saturday 00:00 always comes before Saturday 20:00.
I think the only reason why the Trophy for the Hothead is 3D is because it would look lame if it was just a 2D object. Sure the Food Trophy in the same game uses the 2D images of the Food used in game, but that uses multiple different types of food, to give the trophy depth, unlike what a single 2D Hothead jpg could show. That is just my two cents, though.
I recall that the Starshrooms also have an interior in the actual Mario galaxy game that can only be accessed via a glitch that allows you to clip inside one, maybe they accidentally put an SMG1 fact on that wiki? I guess that still doesn't answer the question of why the ships just aren't appearing
I always appreciate all the language/localization tidbits you throw in! I'm not sure what the majority opinion is on that, but I'm always interested in them, so please keep putting em in! (or making full videos about it when you feel so inclined XD)
(15:20) It's similar to how some languages have a word for rabbits and hares collectively, but might even not have words for specifically rabbits or hares. It can sometimes be tricky to translate due to these things. Which would explain the mistake in the translation from Japanese to English.
I found your channel through beefy smash dudes smash review, I think it was a training mode combo, and I am so glad I stuck with watching your content. All of the random facts videos are so entertaining to me since I love trivia like this
I think another reason they may have made the smash run Cuckoo a sprite was so you disnt confuse it with the item, try to pick it up, and instead hit it.
About the Starshrooms. It's a Smash 4 thing. The way you can tell is because Zelda and Ganondorf in the picture are in their Twilight Princess style, compared to their other appearances in smash ultimate.
I could go off about the differences between wasps and bees and tell you why wasps deserve cutesy eyes, but it's 1am on Crysthoms day and can't bee bothered.
hi all, guy who mods the game here. I've done some investigating on the Starshrooms. In Smash 4 there was a red, green, and yellow one, all of which can been seen in the background in that game. They all return in Ultimate but aren't normally visible in game. In the normal version of the stage, they are visible but their animation paths have been moved to never be within the boundaries of the vanilla camera (except the yellow one, which can be seen if the camera is angled toward the top right of the stage when the Bowser ship is on the right facing the camera). In the Battlefield and Omega variants, they are all still present and follow their animations but the animation files are set to have their visibility turned off.
Why not check the hotheads in Super Mario Bros. Wonder to see if things have changed? If we ever get another smash game id easily buy them using the Wonder design as a base.
I discovered something interesting recently. Squirtle's side special, withdraw, is supposed to be invincible throughout the whole move. If he gets hit by an attack he won't take damage, but might get his momentum slowed/reversed. However, if hit by a water-based attack, he will take knockback as usual without taking any damage. So I think that means that if he is at a high enough percent, he could get KOed while performing withdraw by a "water-based" attack (Isabelle D-smash, Corrin counter, Squirtle F-smash) without taking any damage from it. I'm curious to learn more about move "types" and "effects" and how they interact with other attacks such as pikmin
about the starshroom, you can see the smash 4 zelda right there(i think thats not that 1 ultimate skin that kinda looks the same, i may b wrong tho), so ye i guess it's not in ultimate
I’d like to know where I can listen a extended version of that specific audio file of waves sounds you put at the end of your videos as your outro. It sounds so relaxing and it’d be very useful to me for sleep or study purposes.
I remember back in Sm4sh, someone got a screenshot of the back of the Hot Head item thanks to the mirror in the Wii Fit Studio stage. I wonder if the same can be done here
Fun fact: Mods introduced ice climbers into the 3DS game with no issues. There was never any problem with their introduction. They worked and looked perfectly fine. So Nintendo cut them for other reasons
It's possible it was an assumption made, earlier builds were less optimized, or the mod was using NEW 3DS and the base 3DS had to be able to have 4 Ice Climbers (8 characters) on the most intense stages for it to be considered viable
Hey PK, I found something very interesting about Steve. Steve has only 2 jumps, right? Well he does a slight jump after an anvil drop in the air. Just something weird.
I believe the Cucoo enemy in Smash Run for the 3DS is 2D so having too many entities on-screen puts in less strain on the console, and potentially to distinguish itself from the item, as not only can't you pick one up, you can attack a member of the revenge squad to disable its hitbox, wich to my knowledge does not work for the item
Interestingly enough, the 3D model of the Flying Men do eventually make it to Super Smash Bros. 4 and Ultimate as they end up as a Mii Brawler Costume.
As for the bee vs. wasp thing: all bees are a kind of wasp, but not all wasps are bees. Ants are also a kind of (mostly) flightless wasp. This is a simplification, of course, but it's the same principle by which all insects are crustaceans, and all birds are dinosaurs, and therefore reptiles.
Bro, Smash run was my FAVORATE MODE! I wish they ported it to the switch. But the bigger sin is the fact that the Wii U version didn't have smash run in it either. The gamemode we got on the Wii U (for those who had one) sucked.
I’ve been wondering if you could do a big episode on move staling. Maybe it’s too “relevant to gameplay” for your brand, but I feel like there’s a million questions about it for specific characters I have. A few examples- Do Pokémon trainer’s individual Pokémon have their own staling or does it go across Pokémon (ex using squirtle’s f tilt stales ivy’s). What about special inputs, does terry’s spotdodge cancel stale with his uptilt, or as his own move? What about kazuya’s bajillion moves? What about pikmin, does f smash stale no matter which pikmin is being used, or does each individual pikmin stale whenever it’s used? What about luma? Do final smashes stale? What about special moves like terry go stuff? What about damaging taunts? Just a few of many questions. I assume their answers exist everywhere but idk if it’s all in one place. Cheers!
I only had a 3DS when Smash 4 was out and honestly wish Smash Run was a standard mode from then on. It combined the PvE aspects of Subspace Emissary (which we all wish would return) with some RPG elements and a random but fun multiplayer game at the end. I really wish they would create a Subspace Emissary spinoff. Kirby and the Amazing Mirror is literally just that but Kirby. Subspace was clearly a clone of a well received game by Sakurai but much more interesting...why no sequel?
Actually, the wasps are cute because they are cartoony. what did you expect, angry eyebrows? that would not work in smash Ultimate. plus, in shows like tom and jerry, stinging insects often form directional arrows that point to where they will sting.
9:41 I’m not going to say I’m necessarily an expert at farming, but I’m fairly certain that punching animals and then telepathically gaining control over it for a bit, is not something that exclusively farmers are able to do. (Although I haven’t tested it myself so feel free to correct me if you’re an expert on this)
I think the smash ball has the same properties as the hot head, or at least similar. The logo is always looking at the camera. Correct me if im wrong because im not sure at all
Would you go over the few wind/water boxes that scale with %? There is Greninja's Up b, Inkling neut b, WFT's neut b charge, Lucas's tipper aerial down b, and Bowser's neut b. Are there any other ones I am missing?
Anyone who says first, I have a blue shell (I did borrow that joke from someone else, can’t remember which account it was but I saw someone say the same thing on another video’s comment section)
