For our honeymoon, my husband (American) and I (German) went to England and followed the footsteps of Jane Austen and her heroines e.g. Chawton, Bath, Lyme Regis, Weymouth. Would love to do it again and explore more places tied to her novels.

The lady talking about the puffins gave me a good laugh, which I know it is no laughing matter but her delivery was superb: “you have puffins, well at the moment until they all die”!!! 😂😂😂

I’d definitely recommend the North Yorkshire coast! It’s such a beautiful area, with lovely towns and villages and a great atmosphere! Great episode this week! 😄🤗

Some years ago we went to the isle of Mull, which I really liked. It's got beaches, mountains and I think also castles - very versatile and not too large, so you can explore most places in a week or so.

@@EasyEnglishVideos Haha, glad to be of help. 😉 Years ago I regularly visited a platform for Jane Austen lovers. They discussed all her works of course but there were also forums on random subjects. And there someone recommended the isle of Mull and praised its sandy beaches. What the person didn't mention was how cold the water is even in August because of the Atlantic ...😅 Besides that we loved every aspect of our holiday.
