I spend 34 hours in an ER after a gall bladder attack and both of my parents passed away while struggling to access “free” healthcare.

As an Australian I can tell you there is a RU-vid video about the similarities beyween Canada and Australia and it is spot on.....We both have 2 major supermarkets chains and 2 major airlines.....We both have high immigration, our populations are similar, our dollar is almost at the same exchange rate and we both love natural beauty in our landscapes. We get a dusting of what might be called snow about every 10 years and we all freak out down here. No one drives when that happens because we have no infrasture to deal with icy roads by our local government. Just thinking about driving on roads in snowy weather freaks me out. We are still in the 90s F here and that's just fine. I like being able to wear shorts all through December too.

I do like how he agreed with Canada’s moniker as a cultural “mosaic” versus America’s boring assimilation. In contrast to Polish-Canadian communities, you have environments like in southeastern Texas where Germans and Czechs immigrated nearly 150 years ago and had very tight knit communities that spoke their mother tongues. But today, very few people down there can still speak those unique dialects. I must still say that aside from his championing of diversity, I dislike his and the U.S.’s bickering over lumber, steel, and milk tariffs or subsidies. And I’m angry at him for trying to push for the construction of environment-killing oil pipelines and his blind support for Israel’s genocide in Gaza.

@@deborahhennessey He's a political leader. Muster up a modicum of charm and charisma, you know, like a politician. But seriously, he's on a show with an average viewership of 2.5 to 3 million. He's not on the CBC, he's in the big house now, bring your a-game. His staff should have better prepared him.
