Rockets got the 23rd & 24th pick plus the OKC pick swap is top4 protected. They will likely retain Brooks.

I think they’re going move up though with those picks I doubt that they select back to back and if they don’t move up they’ll trade at least the 24th pick for something I hope they either draft Roku Prkacin or Isaiah Jackson. I personally like Roku more because of his offensive versatility and he still has a good amount of potential on defense also thanks for watching my video

@@QDAWG777 Jackson won't go that low and Roku is a projected 2nd rounder. They won't probably trade up in the draft. That wouldn't make sense, the talent won't be significantly different in the 15-18th pick than the 23rd. Rather take a chance of hitting on one of those. Duarte or Cam Thomas would probably be their pick. Maybe Ziaire Williams if he falls out that low. Greg Brown or Trey Murphy maybe Bagley will also be options.

@@frankcatena2174 so do you think it would be worth trading back to the 2nd round with the 24th pick and get someone like Roku who I think is somewhat of a sleeper he kind of reminds me of a raw but more athletic Dario Saric. I know there’s question on if he will get more shooting consistency but I like him

@@frankcatena2174 also trading up isn’t out of the question because maybe they see a prospect they really like and believe having him is more valuable than two 1st rounders it happens almost every

@@QDAWG777 lol. Why would you trade DOWN? That would be dumb, his not worth it. His a project player, not NBA ready and needs to develop. Only way I see they trade the picks is if they will get a established young player they really want. No way they move up, they rather use both picks and hope both pan out. Especially having a deep draft class. And they need all the young talent they can develop.

You don’t even know what u talking about the pic is top 4 protected not 3 & you hating on the harden trade we got 8 first rounders that’s a great trade weirdo
@QDAWG777
@QDAWG777 3 года назад
Yeah I mixed up the protections the timber wolves pick is top 3 still was a bad trade because most of y’all picks our going be 18-25 which are typically bench player or lower level starters but regardless Ben Simmons, Tyreese Maxey and what ever picks they were willing to give up would have been more valuable than what you got for a superstar in James Harden because now y’all banking on the draft picks to turn into something instead of having a sure thing so it’s an awful trade no one would tell you that’s it a good one but the good news is at least y’all got a good chance of keeping this years pick and hopefully y’all get Cade Cunningham because him, KPJ and Christian Wood could be something
@zeonwilliamson5725
@zeonwilliamson5725 3 года назад
@@QDAWG777 how can you tell the future ? KPJ was 30th pick jokic was 42nd ? No matter what first round picks are great in trade deals .. like our GM said we will use those in trade packages if u was a rockets fan you’d know
@QDAWG777
@QDAWG777 3 года назад
@@zeonwilliamson5725 I can’t tell the future and I like KPJ but were still waiting to see what he is we know what Ben Simmons is and y’all still would have got picks in that deal that you could potentially move for more assets also a Ben Simmons and Christian Wood pick and roll would be lethal I’m not a rockets fan but I like looking at them I think they have a decent looking future and hopefully y’all keep y’all pick but Ben Simmons or at least getting and keeping Caris Levert would have been better than picks and Kelly Olyknx

@@QDAWG777 a Simmons - Wall backcourt would be a disaster. Keeping LeVert would only put the team on purgatory for years. A play in tournament team, a 1st round exit or end of the lottery team. Which would be worse! The only mistake was the gamble on Oladipo. They wanted to compete better but ended up with a damage goods. The picks would be good down the line. Nets big3 won't be together that long. Probably will go their separate ways after their contract expires. Injuries and roster depth will be a prob.
@QDAWG777
@QDAWG777 3 года назад
@@frankcatena2174 they couldn’t end up with both Simmons and Levert and I agree about the John Wall back court but honestly if you get Simmons you might just have to up that contract and move Wall to bench or something and if you would have got Levert he would just be the young player on a great deal that would mesh with your other pieces because y’all are more likely to keep y’all pick and if that’s the case you’ll more than likely end up with Cunningham so a core of Cunningham, KPJ, Wood and Lavert would be one of the more interesting cores in the league and the only picks with some hope in my opinion is the pick swap in 2025 or the 2026 pick but those are so far down the line because this core is more than likely to be good until 2024 because of the contracts Irving and Durant signed
