Where Do You Ground as seen through The Human Design System? 

Thank you Richard. I appreciate the focus of this video. It's yet another way to be nourished by our designs. I'm giving a shout out to your Advanced Human Design Report. It's a rich repast of insight and information. I'll be snacking on it for many months, I'm sure. So, when you recommend looking at what grounds us, I went to your report and found many insights. Too many for me to digest and share right away. Needless to say, I recognized A LOT in my experience and way of being, much of which gave me a chuckle about myself and my past. I'll be 60 this year and am a 3/6, so feel like I get to really digest and be nourished by all the bumps and bruises, as I model the transformation I've gotten to experience along the way. 43.3 Personality; 4.6 (detriment) Design. As so many have expressed, you're beaming a light that's so needed and very much appreciated.

Richard, a HUGE Hearfelt Thank you! After watching you today, I immediately set about Grounding myself in the analysis of my Earth Gates in Personality and Design. Wow you can not make this Stuff up!! I'm at an advantage of still being in my Sumptuous Sixties, as I look back and see what has been there innately all along, and how the ride has been.....I Love it, and am enjoying being the passenger more everyday. The Scenery is beautiful!

Interesting. Ground myself in the 45.6. - I’m in line for total transformation, because I’ve not governed myself with such regal authority ever. I’ve always placed myself as a subordinate, grumbling that people are doing leadership wrong. I’ve just left a job where I was not well respected and not well paid. My friend, a 2/4, commented “it seems you’ve Martyred yourself, losing out financially to experience and eventually prove to the community the lack of respect and narcissism of your boss.” My own integrity was my prize. Little does he know I’m a 6/3, and for how painful it was it was totally correct. He’s not in HD, but the mechanics are evident to those with keen eyes. I’ve also got the same cross as Jordan Peterson, but the truth is I’m not confronting much; I’ve got a critical voice but it doesn’t have the power behind it that it’s sometimes had, which I’ve failed to flesh out fully. Nice to know I’m meant to be more bold, now it’s just a matter of seeing how I’m meant to do that. I’ll be looking at my chart differently!

This was very timely and interesting. I had some awareness of this doing another exercise but applied it today to help me understand/see something I didn’t see before. There is a lot of tension in our home the last few days (week really) and on Christmas Day even (I’m sticking to my boundaries, strategy and authority so some of the usual holiday BS got the better of me with my comments yesterday - I’m using less words lately and trying to say them impeccably but I still speak when I should shut up). Anyways, this helped me understand so much of it. A bit of background: I’m a 3/5 MG and my wife is a 6/2 MG. We’re both 50 and smack in our Chiron Return (house was in Aries when we were born). My personality sun is 7.3 (The Army : The Anarchist) and in fact I have the full Alpha channel 31-7. My wife ALSO has the Army (7.5 The General - and in fact the full 31-7 Alpha channel) but hers is in her design in Mars. BOY OH BOY, that made a lot of sense about an argument we had yesterday. She keeps labelling me as the alpha but she doesn’t realize that she has it as well (and still in complete denial and unaware and it comes across so uncomfortably sometimes) and being in Mars, my understanding is this is an area (The General 7.3) that she can be ‘aggressive or immature’ about. And that’s exactly what I was finally able to see/recognize yesterday so clearly. She can’t hear me on any of this still, so I’ll continue to try to strategize around it because I have hope we can live in better harmony. Suggestions, stories, anecdotes or bumper sticker phrases accepted willingly. Happy Holidays Richard. Grateful to know you. 🧡🐳

I have 13.6 conscious and 43.2 unconscious. Interesting to consider that these are the attributes that actually ground me and need to find expression through my life.

This is so interesting- thank you for sharing your wisdom. I am a 44.1 and 41.5 . Will definitely dive deep into understanding what it means to this 5/1 Mental Projector 🙂

Enlighting!!!! But if my grounding is found at the 29.1...it means I ground myself saying Yes to the right thing? Which is hard... because my Sacral says yes to too many things🙈

I meet last year a guy, and my sun was his earth and his sun was my earth. He was a 3/5 and I’m a 1/3. unfortunately he doesn’t wants a relationship. But the time with him was so beautiful!

Dear Richard, thank you for the beautiful video! As always your free content is actually priceless. Interestingly enough I have found that I feel like I can ground more in my only channel (11-56) than in my "earths" (personality 24.6, design 13.2). Would you have a quick idea about that? Also: if the gate is in an open center, like my 13.2, is it possible to ground there anyways? All the best from Austria!

I have the 11-56 as well. Gate 56.5 is my unconscious sun though. My unconscious earth is the 60.5 and my conscious earth is the 3.3. I’ve been practicing mindfulness to keep me grounded.

Hi Richard! Could you explain what you mean by “grounding”?

Thank you for sharing this helpful information. I’m a little confused about how my design earth gate (50.5 consistency) works with my defined 3-60 channel (where there is no consistency…my personality earth gate is the 60.3 conservatism). Is it about not having consistent energy but having consistent awareness of what needs to be maintained?

And when our earths are undefined, it’s someone else who brings us that grounding, no?
