I think now they don't have any big tournaments coming up, they can grind out smaller qualifiers in europe for a while to really build their teamplay up
I mean he didn't have any choices at that time tho. He didn't choose Falcon because he doesn't like to play for "money", which ironically Falcon also didn't qualify to the Major and the super team with Niko was just a dream too. I think he did mention Vitality too but they just signed Mezii because of the timing with GameSquare x Faze issue made his contract stalled. So yeah the most logical choice was Liquid.
@@potatoz1295well he said he wanted to be the star of the team. He was like the number 2 maybe even number 3 guy in FaZe and he would’ve been the number 3 guy in Vitality as well.
He wanted to play with cadiaN, cadiaN also wanted to play with him, Liquid offered a contract to cadiaN saying he could get anyone he wants, he said Twistzz, they agreed, Twistzz said yes since FaZe was ghosting him That’s basically how it happened and they weren’t really hiding it (staying a lot during Fall Finals 23 hinting to them playing together)
Skulls was not the move for liquid and part of the reason he’s there is because Zeus is the coach. 500-600k buyout too? Hell nah they should have gotten nertz who was cheaper
The esports is in desperate need of more smaller tournaments and grassroots tournaments. Give young players the chance to play and prove themselves in a competitive setting for stakes and a platform to showcase their skill. You look at any professional traditional sport and there are tiers of leagues and people playing. Honestly. Local tournaments, local events, regional events. Things like that. Its not all going to work out, but it could make a huge difference.
Synergy is just not there, one thing is for sure, Yekindar needs to go, him having personal problems as well just affects his team and individual decision-making These bots who are overly negative to the point they say "disband" don't understand eSports or just salty bettors
It’s kind of sad to see how much this channel complains about how bad Liquid is doing as if it’s the only NA team. I get you guys are a Canadian company so the personal sentiment may be strong, but Complexity still exists…
NA E-sports teams need to calm down and hold players for a few years. You don't find a roster you build it. NA teams want an easy win, it feels like pay to win mentality kicked in after the 2018 Major. Astrailis had the same core team comp forever and dominated after a few years of growing pains in TSM, Diga, and Copenhagen Wolves. Look at Dev1ce's game history, 90% of his games have at least Xyp9x, gla1ve and Dupreeh on his team. That major winstreak wasn't luck, it was patients.
Yes and no look at C9 with ska shroud freak nothing and Sean. They gave them tons of time and they flopped in international play over and over again. They blew it up and rebuilt completely around ska and saw massive success all be it for a short period of time. Also after how stew came in a toxic PoS and ruined the mental within the team I think TL don’t want to repeat that.
Idk what’s up with Yekindar out of the game but he has straight up been throwing in game. Every liquid game I watched with the exception of one he actively lost them rounds by being out of position or making horrible plays.
i remember Twistzz said 'something' happened in Yekindar's personal life right around the RMRs and that he could use some love from his fans, but yeah i agree
They need to bench Yerkindar. He has been so poor lately, even before the roster changes, go get JKS, someone who can relive the pressure off Twist & NAF
No disrespect to the players at all, but I really disagree with the choices the Liquid GM has made considering who could have been signed instead. They are the ones that need an inquisition, instead... and now that they paid all this money for these players and filmed the therapy sessions, they might as well stick it out and see how it develops. I still like the players but I went from a fanboy to a hater, if you wanna be extreme I guess, when it comes to the org... "treasonous as it is clumsy" -launders
so far the excuses have been Give them time they are a new team. They are trying to incorporate 3 styles of counterstrike which will need time. Yekindar went from IGL to hard entry again, give him time and he will be the god entry he was before. Twistzz went from faze system to having to learn Cadians mythodical style of play, and Yekindars slow style pace. give him time to adjust. zews and skullz bringing in their own style of cs give them time. Cadian went from IGLing a bunch of beta males who listen to everything he said, now he is IGLing players with egos. give him time to adjust Cadian went from speaking danish to english give him time Skullz is not comfortable speaking english give him time they are jetlagged give them more time. Did i miss anything else?
Ohh another cs video and not Valorant. When will u guys follow the dynasty w7m with 2 majors wins and won S.I. or BDS "superteam" in siege aswell. But no lets just do small news about cs or val or LoL instead and ignore the other esports now days..
I'm gonna be real, yekindar needs to go if this team wants to find ANY success. He plays like he think he's prime stew, but those plays don't work ever. Can't have someone who basically dies pushing smokes like a random mm teammate in a team that wants to be a major contender.
Liquid sucks, but NAF will always be one of the best players imo. He’s so consistent and he’s good at the mental game. He’s kinda slow and just holds his spots.
Ngl it’s mad how y’all ignored the Six Invitational, 10k crowd, best match of siege ever at the finals and y’all didn’t even do a shorts about it 😭, no hate just wish y’all did at least a mini video about it
They are Canadian and Liquid has 2 of the biggest Canadians in CS. Plus they were the top NA team for quite a while so im sure all of theScore people are fans.
People gotta calm down man. Theyve played litterally 3 events that werent T2 NA.Theyve dominated in domestic competition. The only reason they didnt qualify to the major is because they played the 2 best teams in the region and the format was awful.
nitr0 nice try? nitr0 led the team through their best period of sustained success since 2019 and he's still like the only good IGL TL has had since Hiko.
They betrayed NA, to make a "better" roster and compete. Now they can't even compete against T3 teams.. Don't come crawling back for NA fans. NA fans left Team Liquid's building..
Doesn't matter what they do bro Na is Na. Not all teams can have a good combination and good consistency. Even Faze, Vatality they all have their suck moment, 1 person carry. Its a 5 person game and they u get people like Donk crapping on people 1v5. Just deal with it Na
I wish you'd put the game in brackets or something. IDC about counter strike so i instantly click off the video which hurts the video from the perspective of the algo, even though it's just not my type of VOD.
Vitality, G2 has 4 superstars while the best Astralis and Faze line-up had 5 until they fall apart... so, maybe not blame how many cooks in the kitchen but rather focus on synergy...
I would not say that Jks and flamez are superstar caliber players. They shure do or did perform like superstars at times but they themselves aren‘t really superstars themselves (as the team doesn‘t set them up the same way). Nexa on current G2 is also certainly no superstar. Also faze never had 5 super star players (but rather 4 and karrigan). But i absolutely agree with you, synergy and system is way more important. However developing synergy needs time. The Astralis core played together for multiple years and all the other teams you mentioned formed over a long amount of time with just a few changes at once. Liquid however brought in 3 completely new players, which forces them to basically start from zero.
They need to stick with the same roster in order to become consistent they keep changing up the roster and everyone thinks they’re instantly just gonna be better it takes a while for everyone to get comfortable that being said Yekindar hasn’t been looking very confident lately idk what happened but hopefully they can figure it out and get some big wins
De_Airport, De_Contract and De_Basement. It's crazy that they legit hired a mental coach, did all those retreats and gatherings but the chemistry still isn't there but when Twitszz was in Faze they clicked fast, I mean it has been 8 years, Faze don't give a fuck about making an EU HQ or an office, hiring perfomance coach or mental coach, they only had Robban and Eddie in management side of their team😂 I would like to consider how Twistzz's 1st year with Faze also meh too but yeah they got gud consistently and then Ropz happened, so I don't know what will happen with Liquid if they actually believe in their project this time lol either zonk or success. Also, tho i'm not a Liquid fan, Yekindar's form from being one of the most promising talent and entry fragger in EU then becoming a meme right now, is a bit sad ngl.
Cause the six invitational happened like 2-3 weeks ago, had the greatest r6s final of all time. Broke it's own vierwership record and announced a whole lot of hype changes/updates to the game But no just do Cs2 and valorant 6 times a week, and only 2 r6s vids a year. LOL@@JustAspect
They do a six invite rundown video every year. And honestly we can easily go more than a day without a cs video. I guess I'm just baffled that the smallest of news stories involving cs gets an entire video effective emmidiately whereas the most hype R6 match/comeback ever still has'nt been covered yet.@@JustAspect
