It's a fun list, but I'm not gonna be mad about it like some fans are getting. It means we're getting a game again, so I'm happy. I'm a Michigan fan. National champs. Beat Ohio State three straight years. I can't claim Michigan Stadium is a tough place to play, because my experience going there was a lot of rich old alumni bought up the tickets. I had great seats back in the 1980s and started singing the fight song at an appropriate moment. Some old alums turned around and looked at me strange like, "What do you think, we're at a football game?"

Challenge for the On3 stats guys. Top 10 stadiums where the higher ranked team loses at the lower ranked or unranked team. That would be an indicator that it's the environment being a factor.

To get even more granular, they should find out what lesser ranked team covers the spread more often at their home stadium. Sometimes talent gaps just don't allow for the actual upset but if a stadium is great, could lead to far more close games than there should be.

I’ve been to games at Ohio State, OU, Oklahoma State, Iowa, Wisconsin, Nebraska, and several other stadiums not on these lists. This feels like a bad list. Oklahoma State is so tame man. They don’t pack the stadium, almost ever. Big 12 championship on the line last year, only 35k people showed up. I mean, c’mon lol. BYU is a tougher environment 💯% Nebraska should be higher than Iowa and Wisconsin in my opinion too

Maybe it has something to do with how close the seats are to the field with Oklahoma State. I’ve heard that’s a problem, but only for opposing players on the sideline. Shouldn’t effect the players on then field or the game. So I agree with you.

If you went to BYU-oSu, then you know that crowd was 100% affected by the massive snow/ice storm before, during, and after the game. It was night and day different from normal oSu home games - plus, none of our fans really care about playing your only-technically-now-a-Big-12-school.

Yeah Nebraska’s stadium reputation has been tarnished by how pathetic the team has been the last 8 years. Everyone there knows when we are about to crap our pants and it gets quiet. If Rhule can turn it around that environment will become insane in a hurry. Fans are starving to see some real football. The Colorado game will be the best environment there since Miami came to town in 14.

Don’t blame OU for the Big 12 having mid teams visit Norman. Since 2001, OU non con games vs Ohio State, Tennessee, Florida State, Miami, Bama, Nebraska, Oregon, Washington and Notre Dame were all loud. I cant see Kyle Field and Neyland Stadium being that difficult, when the teams that play there lose pretty often. Kinnick stadium is a tough place to play even if the team is mediocre. The environment is difficult for better teams, and they rarely lose there

Crowds in Kyle Field and Neyland Stadium absolutely affect the game if you need evidence just look both teams beat Alabama last time they played them at home with far inferior teams.

I agree with Neyland being a tough place to play and that they should be higher but to say no environment is like it is just inaccurate in my opinion. LSU vs Bama in 2022 was in my opinion the craziest environment I’ve ever seen. Those fans had that stadium Roaring like no other.

I was at the same A&M game vs Bama, and it was loud.. but, it was still a day game. I’ve heard it louder at night. Same with LSU etc etc. As an A&M fan, I was surprised to see a #1 ranking as well. I expected them to be in the top 4-7. That being said, EA says the home field advantage will change with updates. Perhaps it will change week to week (like new MUT cards) and week 1… Notre Dame comes to Kyle Field for a night game. In which case, A&M could very well be worthy of the #1 spot that week.

aTm #1 is so hilarious. Is it loud when the opposing team has the ball, 100% yes. I’ve been there. But I think this also has a negative effect as teams seem more focused and prepared for their games which creates a real non-factor home field advantage for aTm. It’s just not a stadium players/coaches/fans are worried about winning at.

I think there are so many great places that saying one is 7 vs 15 is a pretty small difference. The problem I have with your ranking is clearly you are factoring in how good the teams are, and that isn’t what the ranking is about. It’s about the crowds and environment. Which is a bit more subjective, but I feel like factoring in how good the team in the stadium is, is not the point of this list. With that said I really do believe 5 vs 15 on this list isn’t a huge gap.

I think it should be stated that some places are better at given times. Maybe LSU isn't top 10. And that's a big maybe. But in a night game at LSU they should catapult to #1. Virginia Tech used to have a similar Thursday night environment.

Kinnick has the best tradition for sure. I’d say Ben Hill and Doak Campbell are underrated for sure. No argument against LSU though. Bama stadium wasn’t very special when I went, Auburn was better

NC State is 17-3 at home last 3 years always sold out. Team finished in CFP poll last 4 years. Also one where the sidelines are tight w/ fans really close. Carter Finley should be in the top 25.

Since 2020, Texas A&M is .800 at home and .350 on the road. No other team in your list is going to have a ratio similar to that

I came to comment: we don’t care. I personally don’t care about how mad any y’all get with these lists. It’ll change during the real life season. Also, here’s another thing; in your dynasty, it’ll change too as your years go on. I told ppl, when this lists comes, you’ll see how people really feel for EA. Only thing is, these are the real fans of college football creating this game, not the Madden devs. We are trusting every thing these guys are doing. The list is fine.

Penn State Should easily be 1 or 2. I actually went to the game in Atlanta at Mercedes Benz Stadium and the fans who traveled made sure they was as loud as they could be so i could only imagine going to a white out.

yall also need to consider this is just home field advantage. Some of these teams are just really good and would win at home with only 70k ppl like georgia. A&M isnt that good and still has a really great home record since 2020 and has the largest stadium in the sec

We are reading way too much into this. They will update in Dynasty Mode with weekly rankings like they have in the past. Win a few games and you've already leap frogged the team you're annoyed is ahead of you. They also said the list is subject to change. Either way, this is a nothing-burger for me. Every fan base thinks their stadium is the toughest to play in.
