Here in Utah we have something called fry sauce. Its so good. Its mayo and ketchup mixed together and some people add pickle juice to it. You should try it and see if it is something you and your family would like it
When we went to Helen we went into that jerkey shop. We eat jerkey and make it and we have had deer, boar and gator. We tried the kangaroo jerkey from that shop. It was good.
Falon I think that I read somewhere that some dreams especially the ones that have you in them may come from a sinus allergy condition like dryness or stuffed nose. I get them too.

Talking about dreaming, whatever I was dreaming about last night had me hitting my poor hubby on his arm . He finally had to wake me up and ask me what in the world was I dreaming about? Of course I couldn't remember anything about the dream. LOL
I can't believe you never had pickled onion before. Wow. You know that would be a great place for you to start to learn canning. There are some really good recipes out there and to can the pickled onions would be super easy. Fill jar leaving a bit of room at the top. Add lids and rings and boil for a few minutes. Leave sit for 24 hours and boom your own pickled onions at a fraction of the cost of store bought. 😉
Falon if you enjoyed the pickled onions make your (super easy )! And I think much better fresh made 😁 also if you have extra cucumbers and and empty pickle jar with the juices drop your cucumber slices in and Bam fresh pickles too ! 😊🤍
I've never tried pickled onion. I haven't tried the street corn burgers either. I will try to make it soon. I bet y'all would like the Fiesta Lime Chicken I made last week. The salsa ranch dressing that goes over the chicken is so good. So cute Manley and Jonah running after the Pigeon. I make my own chocolate covered strawberries which is much cheaper than buying them already made. Seeing those moon pies and glass bottle RC Cola brought back memories for me growing up. It was a treat to get in Daddy's Station Wagon and go for a Sunday drive and stop for a moon pie and cola or we'd get cheese pb crackers and a Brownie drink which is like a Yoohoo chocolate drink. I like the looks of those family owned stores especially Betty's Country Store.

Your family is precious. When we lived in Franklin, NC., we often visited Helen. We went tubing over there. One time it hadn't rained in a bit and when we went tubing, we ended up bumping our bums on rocks constantly (we are a group of chubbies). I don't think I've ever laughed so hard, because we were constantly just walking with our tubes the whole way. LOL. Congrats on 65K!!!
Those burgers looked so good! You know, I don’t live far away from Helen, but ive not been…. I guess I need to go! Seems I tend to go more cherokee. If I had kids. Id go to gatlinburg etc. I just go to the park and Bryson city / Cherokee/ sylva. It’s so good that y’all enjoy little getaways!

My family lived in Blairsville GA when I was a kid and we would go over to Helen for fun trip days. It was one of my favorite outings. I haven't thought about that in years. 😊 Thank you for the memories.
Titus, Please don't share our fudge store in Helen. The peanut butter fudge is outrageous. I also like the cookies and cream. We need to keep it a secret 🤫😆
I love pickled onions! I just finished a jar of bread and butter pickles from Aldi and added a cut up red onion to all the pickle juice! So yummy!! Looks like a fun day!
