I have been quite about what 2024 looks like for me so I wanted to check in and tell you about some changes to the program for this year.

First time I experienced Kerry Werner was at CX Nats in Reno and Kerry was sporting an oversized gold chain necklace. It’s been an awesome ride ever since. You have been truly best-in-class and delivered a ton of value to all of your sponsors. Real bummer about Kona. I think it’s 100% their loss. You've always been so gracious when I've had the opportunity to run into you, and I've really enjoyed your (and Rebecca's) vlogs - great entertainment. But more importantly, you've shared a bit of your yourself with all of us and connected with your fans. I'm stoked you've pulled on a couple singlespeed CX national champs jerseys and I'm still hoping you can grab that elite title! My vote is for you to keep racing fulltime with RU-vid as income. You’re a contender with an established social media presence already. Go 9-5 when you’re 40. :) Either way, best of luck and keep smiling.

Kerry - I (and by extension my kids because they've seen me watching your videos frequently!) am a huge fan. All your videos were great, but the CX ones were the best. Happy to see you migrate back to Cross and I wish you nothing by the best balancing your job with pro racing. I'm sure you'll figure it out and crush it. As many have said--Kona's loss for sure. Nice update Kenny & Kerry. Sports careers are not that long in the grand scheme of things but as you say have a plan B because it looks like it is hard to make it. Great stuff Kerry (even for us non-kid types.) Yes indeed you are right about the cycling industry and their silly code of silence. Tough one to navigate, but I have no doubt with your cred and skill level you will mostly be landing on yer feet. (May have to squeeze in a couple 3:30 Fridays though😢)

Great video man. Dealing with huge lifestyle changes can be stressful and exhausting. My career of 7 years fell apart in early 2023 and my plan B was to find a job in the bike industry (LOL didn't happen). So I decided to jump ship and go back to school in my mid 30s. It's been a wild ride. Wish you the best in this next adventure! Maybe race some more CX for fun eh?

Congrats on your new role and I saw the issues coming from Kona based on their lack of communication and follow through that they committed to my daughter. And now seeing them filing and the big BOGO sale and the bike industry as a whole, I am seeing it harder and harder for the smaller brands to keep up. Get a Diverge STR full suspension gravel bike. put on some Zip 404 white letter carbon wheels. make a cool advertisement style video reviewing the bike. boom new sponsor.
