Standing on the hallowed grounds of Normandy, where brave souls once fought for our freedom, reminds us of the incredible power of courage and sacrifice. Let's carry forward their legacy by dedicating ourselves to service and valor in our own lives.
Respect for the symbolism. But you flip flop too much. Don't see how someone who re ups on Omaha Beach where we began whoopin Nazi ass, would be in favor of Nazi like Gun Control. Seems a bit off. But just my observation
I'm 50 and when I grow up I want to be like Tim Kennedy. Well done brother. Thank you for continuing to carry the torch for us! Former US Army 16 Tango from 4/7 ADA
Andy’s face in the back as a Navy guy “I’m allowed to be here right?! Am I standing in the right spot? Fuck it, I’m holding the flag and nobody has said anything” 😅

Nice one mate, the first time I stood on that battlefield was when I was a Infantry instructor at ITC 🇬🇧when we took our Platoon, just standing on the cold wet sand leading up to Golds objective then heading down to Omaha that’s when it hit all of us. Like you I’ve seen my time in the sandbox, but it will never be like what my Grandad fought in North Africa with the British Artillery and certainly not what those young lads endured hitting the beaches. 31yrs now and I’m still serving my King, mate well done you for re enlisted SFSH🇺🇸🇬🇧🫡
@@JK-vc7iethat doesn’t even matter dude. None of us agree on everything. The guy is putting differences of opinion aside and showing respect when it’s due. That’s what we should all be capable of doing.
Very cool, I was able to re-enlist on the Bridge on the River Kwai during Cobra Gold in 2001. You will never forget that moment. Your re-enlistment will be remembered by younger soldiers and the story will be told to the next generation of soldiers.
I think what BRCC just done to honor the Greatest Generation and remember on the 80th anniversary of D Day was amazing and couldn't have been done better. Thank you to all from BRCC and friends for your service to our Nation and continued dedication and patriotism.
Wow Congratulations Tim what a place & time to reenlist. We had two members of our family that were part of that "Greatest Generation". My father in law joined the Navy on 12/8/41 he was 16. By early 1942 he was serving as a torpedo man in the destroyer escort fleet doing convoy duty in the North Atlantic. He made 37 trips through the canal seeing Naval combat in both the Atlantic & Pacific theaters. My brothers father in law was a Marine and was on Tarawa & Saipan, and I feel truly fortunate to have heard some of their stories first hand, we miss you Brownie & Norm. Thanks to all now serving, those who have, and those who will in the future. FLY NAVY!!!
Let's go! Got out in 2008, and went back to MEPS yesterday. The Decision had nothing to do with this video, but the reasoning is the same. Ready to serve as long as I'm useful. I turn 45 in September.
What an honor! Good Shit Tim. I am stoked to see a soldier, leader and man like Tim Kennedy stay in our ranks! Its also great to see the Army take pride in holding onto him. I wish they cared that much about holding onto so many other good soldiers.
What an absolutely beautiful moment! Congratulations and God bless you Tim! I was there in 2016 while attached to Unit2 out of Stuttgart and had THE most profound experience of my life at Normandy. I can't express enough how proud and thankful I am of that amazing generation. They epitomize Honor, Commitment, Courage, and LOVE like no other. I can't fully explain why but I cried like I've never cried before or since while there. I think it had something to do with the energies that surround. I felt so much sadness, so much anger and yet so much love and peace. Like I said, very hard to explain. It also brought my military service into a perspective I never understood before. A very clear, motivating and humble perspective. If I had one wish it would be for every military member to spend a week there in uniform like we did. Cause If you open your mind and heart you just might hear or feel the calls of our brothers and the families who lived and died there to LEARN from this event that took so much from us in so many ways. Again, God bless you Tim, and ALL our brothers and sisters who hear and feel the call. Hoo-Yah! WWG1WGA!
Thank you Mr Kennedy In the living room we have my wife’s grandpa’s metals from WW2 Mr. Priddy was on the tail in of the invasion of Normandy. The metals are on the mantle so we can honor and remember that freedom is not FREE
I mean, yeah alot of lives were lost and D-day was a sad event that frankly shouldn’t of happened. But when you look at the state of Europe and the west at large. Do you really think those boys that stormed the beach would have done so had they known how Europe would look like africa or the middle east in 80 years? “At least they are not speaking German”, No they are speaking arabic now. So did the good guys really win after all?
You look at what these men did on June 6 1944 and now and Tim Kennedy reenlisting. Why can’t anyone in Congress show us respect when they take the same oath ? Mad respect Tim.
When I think of the American dream, I think Tim Kennedy. In my opinion he represents what it means to be an American. Tim was a self described fuck up as a youth. He decided to make some changes and became the most humble badass. Fighting in the ufc while still being active military and then going on to hunt Hitler is incredible. Not to mention all of the good he's done since he quit fighting and killing bad guys professionally. Tim, you're the man, fuck that Cuban guy and his stool.
Rest In Peace to all those who lost there lives fighting for this beautiful country and thank you Tim and all those who served may God bless you each and every day 💙 ❤️ 🤍 🇺🇸.
Awesome brother!! Thank you is not sufficient enough for your bravery, excellence, and continued service to our great nation! Way to honor those before you, and what an honor for you!!🇺🇸💪🏽
Just told my mom that if there is every a major war again to send to me insetead of my nephews. I'd rather have to go through it than them. My mom still has actual war stamps from WWII and a newspaper from when the Japanese surrendered saying the war was over.
First off - Happy Birthday to the US Army! Thank you for sharing your reenlistment with us, and for the tribute you paid to the men and women who served before us and the Greatest Generation!
Atta boy... The weight of our countries problems will one day fall back on the shoulders of those willing to uphold their solemn oath. Happy to have you fall back in Tim.
My son wants to join so bad but is physically unable to he got stuck while being born and doesn't have full use of his right arm and he is super bummed
This is on my list! I want to go so bad. I feel bad that younger kids don't know history? I hope that they see this and get motivated!!! Thank's bro beans!
I wanna re-enlist so bad. I got screwed over by some guys in my unit hard a few years back, didn’t even get an honorable discharge. General under honorable conditions. I gotta find my dd214 and write my congressman or something. I was a great soldier, just never really got a chance. 11B. All I ever wanted to do was go airborne because of D Day. I’m 31 now, hopefully soon before these three letter agencies entirely destroy this country.
