If you're talking old band vintage shirts, you got to find ones that still have the old ass tags attached from the 70s/80s/early 90s that are made in the USA ; many are of winterland productions - company which eventually was bought by live nation
I don’t see why you’d wear something when you’ve never heard of the artist in the print?! You could be wearing anything! I’ve heard Jimmy Saville tees are cool.
I’m a huge Selena fan, and there are some DOPE vintage tees on eBay but they’re from chins and Indonesia, and they’re about $25 $30 are they trust worthy?
really thinking about sending u my designs fam, im really trying to prove myself in this industry and i think i would be a good pick!! btw im from Texas!
Been looking at that same Thrill Killers tee on Etsy for the past week and haven't pulled the trigger yet. Same price too Edit: Turns out it was the same tee (same polka dot background in listing)
As a thrifter-shark collector myself, I look out for the old fabric tags that are made in the USA, screen print is a must, especially if it's been cracked and washed out due to time. The softer the feel of the print the better; knowing your bands and band history helps target your market. Any of the big 4 thrash, Pantera, Motorhead, Judas Priest, etc. Same applies to rap artists and other older groups
You're what's ruining buying t-shirts like this. People will pay upwards of 100 bucks for a t-shirt from a band or a thing they know nothing at all about? I get that you enjoy the designs but you're denying fans of e.g. the band an opportunity to get a REAL old band t-shirt and represent their love by feeding the fucking garbage 200 dollar t-shirt price point. It's why the markup is so insane right now and it's fucked the entire band t-shirt culture
Type o negative is not one of those bands whos merch is for posers to wear like say nirvana or acdc or the misfits. There is no other band like them and their vintage merch is rare and expensive. You probably wouldnt get it tho, i would imagine you probably wouldnt listen to a whole type o song before you skip it to listen to red hot chili peppers or something
