This is awesome! I have 4 kids two of whom wear prescription glasses and my husband wears a pair as well. Great info! Thank you! Beautiful as always Holly
It's hard to imagine any glasses looking bad on you. Thank you for making this video you were going to save me a boatload of money, it's really appreciated!
Yes, Zenni is great. I've been happy with the glasses I have purchased from them. Recently though, i found an even cheaper online optical shop with great quality product. It's called Abbe Glasses. They have the absolute lowest prices I've seen anywhere and the quality is great. Shipping is two bucks more than Zenni, but you more than make up for that with the savings. Also, check online for their promo codes. I bought an absolutely fabulous pair of bifocals for $ 28, which included shipping, and that wasn't some kind of newcomer deal, although I did use a promo code for 30 % off. Another one to try is Payne Glasses, but their shipping cost is quite high if you don't live in the USA.
S.A. M. Thank you for sharing these other places with us! I will check them out. I know it's hard for people to find bifocals online - so that is awesome to hear!
Wow ABBE. I was looking at Prescription Safety Glasses from Zenni at about $115USD delivered to me here in NZ. Thanks to your comment I checked out ABBE and I've got a pair on the way for $60USD which is absolutely insane. Here in New Zealand Prescription safety goggles are about $300NZD (~215USD) so I'm getting nearly 75% off. Just awesome, really appreciate your comment recommending ABBE - thanks a bunch!
@@intolerance100 Glad to hear it helped. Yeah, they're the cheapest out there, I think. I've got a pair of bifocals and now a pair of progressives. Don't have an issue with either one of them. The only thing is that the shipping is a little on the slow side. Hopefully, you'll have better luck with that.
This was really helpful, thank you Holly I only wear my glasses when at the computer as well, but I need to get an extra pair You look gorgeous with all of them 🤓
Holly, everyone of those frames looked great on you. this frames company should pay you. You are marketing for them and I think you should get lots of brand deals. This was really helpful since frames are very expensive. ❤
Aww thank you so much! I still buy my glasses there. It's funny because since doing this video, other companies selling glasses used to contact me trying to have me promote. But, I've never had time to do that. At least it helps that the video isn't sponsored, so people can trust what I am saying. But, I may start taking on certain partnerships coming up - with other brands that I really love. So thank you!
Fast forward a year and although Zenni is still a great option, they're MUCH more expensive now. You can get very inexpensive glasses/sunglasses if you just want very basic lenses but if your like me and wear progressives, you're going to pay way more. Also, unfortunately, you're hard pressed to find a Zenni coupon code now. Still, a decent place to buy from.
I'm shopping for glasses for the first time in years, and discovered that too, sadly. Bought a bunch from Zenni years ago, and the quality was questionable, but they were unbelievably cheap. Lenses anywhere will be more depending on your prescription though, and mine has gotten a little stronger. I did find a site that seems similar to Zenni, Vlook, and it was the cheapest I could find to just have something on the way and be able to see while I figure out where to get a pair through insurance. Especially with the BOGO code, which gives you the entire second pair free, including lenses. Of course, they ship from China, so it will probably take a few weeks. They have a huge selection of really cute and fun styles, but my only complaint is they don't have many options, at least in my size, for a flattering but less outrageous everyday sort of pair. Most are pretty big flashy fashiony frames. I still love them though, very stylish. Excited to get the ones I ordered and see how they look. But I got two pair with my prescription and the upgraded AR blue light filtering coating, for $30 each. If you don't have a prescription and just want them for fun, some frames are only $1!
I''m catching up on videos, which is cool to watch so many in one go haha. Great review, I love when people share their discovery of great value items or companies. 🤓
Thank you a lot for this video I just came home after losing my 400 dollar eye mart pair of glasses into the water and I'm pretty upset. I want to buy glasses that are not overpriced for a piece of crap, something that is actually worth the money and that isn't too much.
Hey Justin. Sorry about your.glasses but I am glad you found my video too. This company's glasses just keep getting better. I bought some recently and you can even get them with blue light blocking lenses for a tiny bit more. I still love their glasses so much.
@@LifeDIY Yes I checked out the website and I put in all the options I wanted and it only came out to 110 dollars!! Very good prices my question is if prescription lenses would effect the price in any way?
@@lamsan3100 higher prescription cost more to produce. However if everyone stop buying glasses and frame from luxottica. The price would go down a dramatically.
Hi Holly, Great video! My optician didn't include prism or base numbers on my script. These are needed on many of the sites I try and order from. Any advice? Thanks!
Thank you so much! For Zenni Optical, I think there might be an option for Prism but you can leave it blank. I'm not sure about the base numbers. For me, I've never ordered Prism prescriptions and it's been fine with Zennis. :)
@@cimaniwilliams248 Oh no, really? I am trying to login to see what my account says from my past orders - sorry that is so weird. I will let you know if I find anything out. I wonder if it is just the pair of glasses you are looking at that are for Prisms.
@@cimaniwilliams248 I found this other info on this page: www.zennioptical.com/blog/prism-correction/ and it says when ordering, to click "No" under Prism and then you won't have to enter that in. I hope it helps! They have really cute glasses and great deals. :)
Hi there, very informative I like your video, but just wondering did you talking about just frame or prescription glasses because soon as you add prescription to it you’re priced will raise to close to $100 … even if you buy frame for $5 you still end close to $75 .. so if you would little bit elaborate about online cheap glasses and prescription lenses will really appreciate… thank you so much
I'm not sure what type of add-ons or what type of frame you were getting. For me, it's usually $50 total based on the glasses I get and I get some add-ons too.
I love the sunglasses that you showed at the 4:00 mark...can you share that direct link? Always enjoy your channel..your look is beautiful too in this one!
Teresa, thank you! Here is the direct link: www.zennioptical.com/p/plastic-oval-eyeglass-frames/1259?skuId=125915 and when I ordered them, I did an 80% tint to make them that dark. :) Thanks for stopping by and watching!
This was great, thanks, I have been researching "what are varifocal lenses for glasses?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Rayemiron Uncommunicative Release - (search on google ) ? It is an awesome one off guide for discovering how to improve your eyesight naturally without the hard work. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my work buddy got excellent results with it.
This is glorious, been searching for "can varifocal contact lenses work" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Rayemiron Uncommunicative Release - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? It is an awesome one off guide for discovering how to improve your eyesight naturally without the normal expense. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my cousin got excellent success with it.
So annoying. I signed up and tried to upload my prescription and it kept saying I must do it from my account. Then, none of the lower priced frames I selected would support my prescription. Also too many variables to select that was confusing. Gotta go back to the store and give them another $500 for a second pair.
Hey Vince! Thanks! I have heard of the honey app but haven't used it. I have been using one called ShopatHome for years. I want to check out some other ones too to see if they have a higher return than mine. Do you use it? I didn't use any when I bought the glasses as I forgot.
@@LifeDIY Hi Holly, yes I use Honey, it is a Chrome app, it's very good, I forget it is there until it pops up at the checkout and tells me its found a coupon code.
It depends on the glasses you choose and what features they have...for me, it is between 10 to 25 dollars usually :) but for my last order I got 6 pairs for around $60.
Sheesh mine was lost in a water park go to the website yourself in the video I did and let me tell they're very cheap but good quality and lots of frames and options to add on and pick
