are college admission in canada not that competitive or significant then would you say?

@@rishid7602 there are some universities that are pretty competitive like McGill in Montreal and University of British Columbia Vancouver and a few others but we don't have to take the SATs or ACTs...it just doesn't seem as involved a process i guess. I suppose its also been quite a long time since I had to apply to college but I don't really remember it being quite as much of a stress. Unless you're trying to get into med school or law school later on anyway. Then all bets are off ;)

Christesen is great and you should definitely check out the Greece and Rome FSP's which are usually led by him. The classics department in general is a strong one and is a pretty versatile major. If you want to talk to anyone, I have a close friend who is studying classics. He is a '20 and knows too much about it. Congrats on your acceptances and on choosing Dartmouth for your new home! :)

dirt lint Slowly lessen the time you play and do other things. Don’t come to an abrupt stop or else you’ll go back to playing a lot. Also reflect a lot on what you value and what you truly want later on in life and then go from there and slowly work your way to putting yourself in that direction. Maybe check out the book “The Power of Habit” by Charles Duhigg. And/or you can also look more into habits, discipline and success. I personally like watching videos and taking notes on them and try to apply them to my life and it’s been helping me. I’ve stopped playing games and I’m so much more productive and have more time and fun with myself and others. I hope that helps :)

That's actually untrue! It's really just moderate-left. It's one of the "more conservative" of the ivies or so they say, but it most definitely does not lean right. The county that it's in votes solidly Democrat despite New Hampshire being a swing state, if that's any indication.

​@@joshmakesdrinksandjokes True that! All Ivy League schools are pretty liberal - although let's get real, none of them will ever lean farther left than center-left. But even on that scale, Princeton and Penn for instance are waaaayyy more conservative than Dartmouth.
