NYC is the best between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Nothing like seeing the department stores windows decorated for the holidays, and Rockefeller Center.

It is so much fun to see what you did while in NYC! I am from NY, but I live in Colorado, USA. Five Days in NYC is a long-time I wish I would have met you while you were visiting. I imagine that you have lots of US subscribers. Lovely hotel choice. I can't believe you walked all over NYC in heels, quite impressive. My hubby is in NYC today and his office is in Tribecca/Soho and I agree those are the better places to shop. This video shows how genuine you are with how you live your life, and enjoy life's gifts. Thank you for sharing your work/vacation trip with all of us.

Hey Lydia! I am a native new yorker and I am so upset that I missed you. I am a realtor here in Ny and use to work in the hospitality industry. A trick that some restaurants do is that they have guest wait around in the bar area because the drinks are more expensive then the food. So the longer you wait the more you spend at the bar. Hope you enjoyed the city I really wish you would have done a meet up here.

I unabashedly, boldly use them as straws, and I am an US-ian. Ha. I have even dented one end and shoved it into another to make a LONG straw. There is another stirrer that is usually red with a white stripe. It is figure 8 shaped. Two hollow circles combined. Guess what? you can use it like a straw too! I haven't been banned from any coffee counter, city or state yet! Fingers crossed!

Stress can also make your skin break out. I experienced that, I mean, not gigantic bumps, but quite a few small red spots and some texture. That's really annoying because it happens just when you really need your skin to be at its best, but don't get worried about that much, everyone will understand you had just a not so spot-on skin day : )

"We had the rudest steward, he probably was having a bad day". This actually shows how kind and considerate you are. Yes, some people in customer service are just plain rude, but it does also happen that someone is just having a really bad day. As someone who works in a customer service myself, I don't want to use it as an excuse, but most people genuinely don't want to ruin customer's mood, sometimes it actually is really hard to keep your shit together on the outside if you're struggling on the inside.

I love watching non-New Yorkers' NYC vlogs, they're always so cute! Especially yours, because your vlogs are the best ones. ❤️ Next time you go, shopping in Soho (where Glossier is) is SO much better than 5th avenue. 5th ave is so touristy and the only reason to go there is bloomingdales tbh. Soho is the CUTEST and I'm so happy you loved it!

Next time you're in the US you should use Yelp to find places to go/restaurants/etc. it's like TripAdvisor, but much bigger in the US. You can actually also use it in the U.K. But it's much smaller. You can just download the app

Im so happy you enjoyed NYC. Chicken and waffles is a southern American tradition. When in NYC, you can discover a huge variety of restaurants inspired from places around the globe as well. Next time you come, try Little Italy and China Town. Also, if you were on 5th Ave and Park, thats where all the luxury shops like Dior, Chanel, and Louis Vuitton are. Did you get to go there? Also, be sure to check out Bergdorf Goodman, Jeffries, and Saks 5th Ave if you did not when you were here. Welcome back anytime!!

Next time you go, stay at the NY Edition. It's the best hotel for staff, rooms, location etc. The scent is to die for also - I guarantee you will buy their candles as soon as you smell them.

Lydia, I dont know if youll be reading this but nevertheless, I just needed to say how much I loved this vlog! I so enjoyed seeing you this happy! You should ho on a real vacation more often ;) also, I am currently on the third season of Gossip Girl and therefor just loved seeing you in New York! Thank you so much for sharing your adventures! I usually watch your videos in the morning with a nice cup of hot coffee in hand - perfect way to start the day as it brings me in such a positive mood.
