@@davidford3968 Oh yeah. Asia was SECOND toughest. If you had Africa OR Asia, good freaking luck. You really needed to earn that trip by studying everything.
Richard Hernandez Not just Africa & Asia but possibly the North America Map but you could still remember most of the States in the USA like Texas, California & Alaska plus some Bodies Of Water like Hudson Bay, Lake Michigan & the Gulf Of Mexico.
I know these thefts are meant to be tongue-in-cheek and the methods depicted on the show are spectacularly implausible, but part of me wonders what sense is there in Wonder Rat stealing the freaking SUN. Wouldn't that doom just about every living thing on Earth to an early extinction, including Carmen herself? This right here is why the "Where on Earth" Carmen refused to take a life!
IKR? I could see Wonder Rat taking the sun for less than a day before mimicking that scene from Beevis and Butthead. He’d be crawling in the desert saying, “The sun sucks.” It’s all in good fun...until you realize we’re all dead now and must be solving the crime in limbo. Stealing something bigger than the earth itself is really hard to buy even for a show like this. Still love it forever though.
Africa is the hardest 54 countries and no real way to break them down on than Saharan and Sub-Saharan. At least with Asia you have more recognized regions that if you can memorize the seven to ten countries in that region your set. Africa is a mess, I can do it, but I have a hell of a time remembering some of those western Sahara countries.
@@shanejones499 Yeah with 54 Countries in Africa, you really had to study that continent. I can only remember Madagascar, South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, and Libya. The others, UGH. Asia is also the second banana to Africa...that one was pretty tough too!
@@briansheil9763 Because even though he's a crook, at least he's honest about the type of person he is, and gotta respect the hustle involved in trying to promote himself
What ever happened to the cast and crew of the game show this was one of my favorites and 90s years old now and I’ve always wondered whatever happened to the group Rockapella
Strictly speaking, the Earth wouldn't know that the sun was missing for a few minutes. If they got the sun back in a day or less, things would be okay. Anything more than that, and everyone's probably dead.
Oh & again like once before, it's not like usual "Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego" game show episodes, that this one must have mistakenly forgotten to remember & not to leave out the late Cherlynne "Lynne" T. Thigpen as ACME CrimeNet "Chief" by name in the credits!
Yes, this 1994's "WITWICS" game show host & Senior Agent in charge of training new recruits(gumshoes) was Mr. Greg Lee just as his then-ACME CrimeNet announcer & the "Chief" was the late Cherlynne "Lynne" T. Thigpen! Also, truly, I thank & bless our faithful Creator that on this day at "Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego" game show, we could see on television that through picking the loot, warrant, & crook & correctly putting 8 markers on that floor map, then-teen ACME CrimeNet Detective Allison Yee captured & locked up both that crook Wonder Rat & especially his lady crime boss Carmen Sandiego & wrote & won that trip to San Francisco, California! Gladly!❤😂
I was hoping I would see another copy of the dark office sketch eventually. The Sun was also stolen in the April 1994 issue of National Geographic World how the heck did they get Ted Kennedy, it really surprises me how the show was able to get a Kennedy, a first lady and the future Vice President (and president) to do stuff here, well at least they didn't get he who must not be named, and I ain't talking about Voldemort I know what they're parodying I just can't remember the title
I have a request if you take them, if I remember correctly there was an episode where someone wanted to go to New York, New York. Can you try to upload the episode if possible. Comment back if you find it.
That was classic 90's. Force the kid to smile for TV. She did have a nice smile though when she did! Talk about shy, who knows, maybe she was slightly autistic. The whole crowd at the end mobbing her and dancing and she's still stone faced
I don't think South America is that hard, as it has the fewest number of countries (12, since French Guiana is really an overseas territory of France).
