Love how everyone is freaking out over where Diablo is. He was front and center on each of the 3 previous base games. Baal got to start in the expansion. Meph in d2 was introduced and killed in the same breath. I’m happy he gets center stage on the first d4 expansion. No doubt Big D will show up in the 2nd or 3rd expansion depending on if we see Baal again
That's so true, we're seeing their statues all over the place in the overworld and in various dungeons. It'll be cool to see old Act 3 places and new places that were affected by his influence.
Would be cool that Diablo have many phases but as Uber that he gets a gimmick that force players to have different attacks . For example players use alot basic attacks in a phase that in the next phase you get a message Diablo grow stronger to basic attacks and get resistance to basic attacks. Could be like a stagger bar so players can see what they are doing to much.
The angel of death in diablo 3 expansion absorbed all of the prime evils and lesser evil into himself. After killing him, all of the prime and lesser evils had to regain their strength similar to how mephisto is in diablo 4. The lesser evils arent as strong as the prime evils so they are able to manifest faster. Diablo and baal are still reforming like mephisto. My guess is that diablo will be the final villain in the final expansion of the game, baal before him, and mephisto before baal. There isnt much more you can really do since diablos 3s angel of death basically is the pinnacle of enemies of all evils and a former angel of the angeris council in one. Plus the lore doesnt have much more pinnacle characters in it. You can do alot of smaller scale stories that happen during the times but thats about it. Whether our character is a nephalem or not is still up in the air hmmm.....

If Blizzard did this right they could make D4 to have 3 DLCs. After Vassel of Hatred, they could shift the next one towards Baal for the second DLC and Diablo in the final DLC.
I’m hoping Mephisto arranges for all his brothers to be released. Then leaks that information while he stays hidden. We spend the next several expansions trapping them in the black soul stone. Then Mephisto comes in and becomes the Prime evil for the last expansion.
Nice with some lore videos bro. Personally I don't "need" to see diablo in a while and think people saying "a diablo game without diablo??" don't understand what's the best way to do this. It's the fourth game, we've seen him several times earlier and there's nothing special to him compared to his brothers in my opinion. D4 will most likely be a live-service game for well over a decade. Spilling all the prime evils early without long buildups would't be wise or fun to be honest. There's so much more to explore and create here, and I'm all for making the prime evils as legendary as possible.

Lucion is Mephisto's son. Not sure if diablo has any children besides Leah, which raises a question about if she comes back from the dead like other demons do, or if her half human side means she will never come back.
Diablo 4 is so bad that not even the lord of Terror himself wanted to be in it….also in Diablo 3 I believe they made Diablo a female, I think I remember Jay Wilson mentioned that somewhere 😂
