Thanks for update. Sometimes it’s as hard for the caregiver as the recoverer. Traveling,worrying and trying to remain normal. Blessings for you both. Swelling takes unfortunately time to resolve.

What a very long hard journey, but its so good to hear prognosis IS positive so you must think only of that :-) So sorry to see how hard its been on the two of you, and hoping both of you get to be back home very soon.
The challenges of handling medical issues in your own language can be complex enough without the added issues of doing it in a language you don't speak fluently and in a system you don't know. Candles lit for you both.

Hello Phillip.I worked with Mark's mother Geri at the clinic for years. I can see where Mark would get his "tell it like it is" demeanor! I had been looking forward to watching your video's when I heard you would be working on a chateau in France.So very sorry to hear about his situation at the moment. Starting over! I am so sorry to hear about Mark. That is a sad story, but I am happy to hear that he is progressing and with time will recover. It is just so hard when our loved ones have medical issues. The work you two are doing on the Château is exciting to watch

OH gosh I know only too well this situation, I too have spinal stenosis as well as other multiple health issues which have taken my mobility away. Sending positive thoughts and prayers for Mark's healing. Better times are ahead and you will both enjoy your chateau journey. 😊
It will be okay. My good friend had the same neck surgery then several years later they found over 100 lesions all throughout her spinal nerve column. They can bleed, she did not have a biopsy and that was 10 years ago. She gets them imaged now and again, she also has numbing of the legs but gonna pass on any further surgeries. God bless you, don't be sad, be happy for all you have

Phillip I was a nurse for thirty five years and believe me with my own experience I got better much faster at home and Phillip I know you do everything with love fresh food home environment and determination and the rest is up to markxxx
Phillip I had two worn discs in my back as a result of my lifting all those years I was in hospital and believe me I came home and chose to sleep on floor boards ?the Floor for six weeks I could not get out of bed before this and believe me everything seemed to work after this I still have worn discs but the pain is much much less and I can hop out of bed now if I get any twinges I go back on the floor for a few nightsxxx

I know how exhausting all of this is, especially mentally and not just for the person who is affected by the medical problems but those that love them and support them. The chateau frankly, is a secondary concern and perhaps, for you both, a distraction from the medical care. Sometimes it’s just nice to sit and appreciate a good view though, with a nice glass of wine or non-alcoholic drink and just appreciate being. I don’t know you and have only just come across your videos but I hope from one human to another the sincerity comes through.

Hello. I originally came across your website and videos some months ago whilst looking for news of a chateau my cousin used to own, a little SE of Bordeaux in Tabanac, near east of the Garonne. Anyway, now I'm a fan. I had seen the first short video, so it was nice to find two video updates all at once ! I'd been hoping for more, but having read the "At The Chateau" website I hadn't been expecting anything for a while. I wish Mark a speedy recovery. Looking forward to future posts by and by.
