I was 8 years old when this happened. I remembering watching this on tv with my parents and big brother the Friday night before our annual beach trip. I had no idea who he was. My brother and parents were telling me he was a famous football player. We went out to get dinner from Taco Bell, came back home and normally TGIF was on, but instead this was on and we sat around eating our Taco Bell and watching this. This was the news highlight of the summer of 1994. I remember school started back in August and my last name is Simmons (and I’m black) , not "Simpson" and my 3rd grade teacher was taking attendance on the first day and she asked me if I was related to OJ Simpson 🙄. She was so lame.

I went to the Tennese crime museum 2yrs ago & it was so eerie being in a room with OJs Bronco, Bonnie & Clyde's death car & Ted Bundy's Volkswagen. Such a cool place, so much history. Highly recommended.
