I can't believe you had so much trouble with that thing. Wow. At least they bought it back. I don't think Vermeer even makes a center pivot mower conditioner anymore . We've had really good luck with Vermeer, but I will say we bought the one mower a year old and the previous owner had constant troubles with it. They ended up putting a whole new cutter bar on it and then that's when we bought it and haven't had an issue with it at all. But that was a long time before covid was even invented.
Man you have a lot more patience than i would 😂. After the 1st issue, yes, sure something happened at yhe factory... but after the 2nd major issue with it would have been done then and there. Hard to put a price on down time and lost crop. I suppose with the coof Vermeer sounded really slow at getting anything done for you... any baler catastrophic issues weve had in the last 20 years was solved either same day or week. Glad you got a SP mower... they're much easier to use and operate as ive found out in the last 2 years. As long as nothing catastrophic happens, but can happen to anything.
