Bad research at all. That you only can see the Triforce in Botw is a fact other videos obviously was shown before this video. Most of the Zelda Content is Copy- Paste..
The power Zelda uses at the end of BotW is the Light Force mentioned in The Minish Cap. Every princess of hyrule has it and it’s separate from the Triforce. Edit : the reason we know it’s separate from the Triforce is that the Triforce was a gift from the Golden Goddesses and the Light Force was given to the royal family by the Minish/Picori along with the sacred Picori Blade.
I'd love for them to explore this topic in the future so we can have a trilogy. Perhaps it's left in the sacred realm to purge it from evil, maybe the goddesses got mad at our trio for going on on repeat for ages and took their blessing away or maybe it even left the land of Hyrule in some other way. Regardless I want to play through that at some point.
The trilogy is over, botw is wisdom, the colour blue was prevelant, and it was about the sheika and machines. Age of calamity is power, the colour red was prevelant, and it was about the destruction of hyrule with calamity ganons power Totk is courage, as the final game, and green is prevelant, its about the zonai and about links courage. So yeah its already a trilogy
@@Spher0 oh that's true if you ignore the fact Hyrule warriors is a separate entity, made by third party, shares more gameplay similarities with Dynasty Warriors than mainline Zelda, is not canon or even if you think it is happens in an alternate universe where botw and consequently totk just does not happen. I'm talking about a true sequel to make it 3, not a third party what ifs.
From what I can remember are these 3 times we last saw in all 3 timelines. In the child timeline the triforce disappears at the end of Twilight Princess when Ganondorf dies probably going to the Golden Realm. In the Adult timeline, the King used the trifold to save Link and Tetra and was basically left in Hyrule under the sea probably lost forever. In the Fallen Timeline, we last see the trifoce used to wake up Zelda 1 from the sleeping curse. We don’t know what happened after but I assume it also went to the Golden Realm as well. So my theory is that it probably disappeared or went into the Golden Realm after all timelines merged and over time it’s just become a legend.
I think the idea that the triforce was just forgotten is the MOST likely scenario. Especially considering that totk is the last game in the timeline and the triforce was misremembered as the triumph forks in wind waker It would be impossible for the secret stones to be made from the triforce if they existed at hyrule's founding

Well a popular theory suggests that totk is also the prequel to skyward sword. And in that game there’s a part where you look for info about the triforce but the only one that knows about it is levias which means that if the popular theory is true than we have some good evidence to suggest that forgetting about is completely logical
The memories would take place as the founding of Hyrule so the triforce would have to get made Hyrule founded then they turn the triforce into the stones Ganon's shenanigans get his away turn back to the triforce for all the following games then turn back to the secret stones for this game Or the triforce and stones exist separately and the stones are hidden away and the triforce then gets seen for all the games plus during that 100 year nap with Ganon destroying Hyrule the triforce would've gotten taken away or destroyed to prevent Ganon from getting it

Zelda still uses the power of Triforce without coming in contact with any Stones in BotW. 4. Triforce pieces usually don't do anything until they're combined into one of three parts. Hero of the Winds didn't become any stronger with every Triforce shard he found. 5. Secret Stones are always referred to as Zonai artifacts, while Zonai also worship the Triforce in its representations of an Owl, Boar and a Dragon. Secret Stones have no individual names or characteristics.

@@griffintallen Hyrule wasn't founded just once. In TotK it's at least the third time it was established as a kingdom across all timelines. Either TotK's past takes place after every other game except BotW or in a separate timeline.
In the memory where Rauru shots the light laser to the moldugas you can see how right before he shots it, a triangle like figure forms in front of his hand, it is really hard to see unless your are a psico like me and watches every memory 3 times to see better some details.

My personal headcanon at this point is that after so many cycles the three fragments of the Triforce have become permanently entwined with the Spirit of the Hero, the Reincarnation of the Goddess, and the twisted grudge of Demise. I feel like at this point, the Triforce no longer exists as a physical artifact containing the essence of the gods and is now instead a spiritual distillation of Power, Wisdom, and Courage, forever bound to the three beings who most exemplify those traits. I dunno', just an idea i had.
Finally someone who makes some sense. Even if it doesn’t show the triforce I would still infer that each reincarnation still got their part of the force.
The triforce is shown on Zelda's hand thrice in botw when she uses sealing magic. This suggests she still has her piece of wisdom. Although it is unknown if link and Ganon still possess courage and power since they haven't been used.
I have a few theories: 1. The triforce is said to whisper wishes to the gods. It's possible (but admittedly unlikely due to Skyward Sword) that the Goddess Statues (or potentially just the major statues) that communicate with Hylia possess fragments of the Triforce. 2. The three non-light dragons are loosely associated with the three aspects of the triforce. Could they have once been the guardians of the triforces of Power, Wisdom and Courage? 3. This one's boring, but potentially at some point the Triforce was destroyed and bound to the reincarnations of Link, Zelda and Ganon. This would explain Zelda's immense power, Link's semi-superhuman abilities and Ganondorf's greater power from his Secret Stone when compared with the other sages, outside of "they're powerful because the plot says so".
For the 2nd it is false since it is said by the statues that The 3 Botw dragon are spirits Also in the zonai past the dragons didn't exist and after that Zelda stone was eaten, each sage stone was kept safe, and Rauru had no stone if im not miataken so it is impossible

@@CaydenTheCat i think that Zelda visiting the 3 springs was more ritualistic than helpful, i think that she was only able to awaken her power once Link was threatened because she had the courage to act and protect him, like if the courage piece of the triforce was the one missing from her
The three spring are most likely tests for the bearer of the triforce. The triforce can be dormant into someone body until they are powerful/wise/courageous enough to use it
She has to be, as Zelda is her descendent, and Zelda is already the incarnation of Hylia, and we know this stays true in the BotW timeline due to Zelda being the one chosen to seal Ganon.
I believe the triforce split it’s magic into the secret stones and was gifted to each goddess, Nayru, Farore, and Din. They then could’ve ate the secret stones and turned into the dragons which is where the triforce’s spirit may lay now. Sorry im kinda bad at explaining and theorizing into words 😅
I think you meant to refer to them as the Oracles because why would the golden goddesses gift themselves with a power they probably already possessed? Since they *made* the triforce
It was most likely because of a timeline split in skyward sword, in their original time link used the triforce to kill demise but had to go back in time to defeat the revived demise, thus not need the triforce so it was never found in that time line explaining the absence of it, and in the present timeline obviously since they found it and used it that’s where all the other games happen (credit to HMK)
Not exactly true. Demise by all accounts was obliterated in the past as well. He needed the essence of Hylia and many sacrifices by Girahim to be brought nack.
My theory is that the shards of the triforce were originally just secret stones in Rauru and Sonia's time. The three triangles in the Hyrule crest original just represented the three values of the family (courage, wisdom, and power). At some point, three secret stone holders consumed their stones and became the dragons Farosh, Dinraal, and Naydra who then became called the goddesses Farore, Din, and Nayru by later generations (we already know that the later generations believed the Zonai were gods). Maybe these generations also beleived Zelda, the light dragon, was the goddess Hylia?
I like to imagine it was used to reunite the timelines which began a new history aware of the old histories and the triforce was permanently bonded with our three bearers. Link is stated to be highly unusual even by hylian standards which could be because of the ToC having massive strength as well as seemingly having the ability to bear any burden, Zelda’s line has been blessed with incredible sealing powers which could be born of her line bearing the ToW as well as the blood of the goddess. TotK Ganondorf seems more powerful than any other incarnation we’ve ever seen easily overwhelming sages and Zelda, the secret stones can only amplify what already exist and multiplying the ToP could be the reason why he’s even more formidable than every other incarnation even making him capable of creating something like Calamity Ganon.
I have an idea: The three dragons are actually the three Golden Godesses (The ones who created the world). They came back down to the world to protect the Triforce from being abused by people like Ganon. So they did the forbidden act and all ate their respective piece of the Triforce. That would explain both why those dragons exist, and why there is no sign of the Triforce.
I think whatever Royal Family remained just after the timeline split remerges or whatever must have hidden the Triforce so well that quite literally everyone forgot where/what it was. And it's a good thing too because could you imagine the horrors of a Ganondorf with a Secret Stone AND the Triforce of Power?
My question is, why would ganondorf not know about the triforce in the past in that scenario, considering that the triforce is in most games so anywhere in the timeline totks past takes place he would likely know about it.
@@goldenwolfio6701 I think since the imprisoning war likely takes place slightly after Skyward Sword, as Demise's first Ganondorf he wouldn't really have the knowledge of the Triforce yet, and since the Zonai showed up to establish Hyrule Ganondorf was more interested in the Zonai god items rather than the Hylian one? I dunno, it's not like the Triforce didn't exist then either because Sonia has them painted on her arms
Zelda has the triforce un BotW, but at the end, after she used it she has no longer the 3 virtues so the triforce abandoned her and, surely, it is resting again in the sacred realm

My personal theory is that the original Hyrule was kind of just like disbanded and destroy during a big bow with Gannon at one point and the triforce was used to defeat him but put the sacred realm, after that Rauru kind of a remade Hyrule and just took a bunch of concepts from the Old Kingdom without knowing the whole thing about them, and he was the first king of Hyrule two, this also fixes a few plot holes with Ganondorf being under the castle the entire time.
I think there were three powerful zonai who held the three pieces of the triforce, but they had to draconify in order to protect it, and they turned into naydra, dinraal and farosh.
Heres a crazy theory, botw and totk are the three separate timelines in the series merging together because three seperate timelines split the goddesses power between them and the goddess is weakened from doing that so she had to merge them to balance stuff out. Afterwards she was weakened so she created the three dragons to protect pieces of the triforce while she recuperated from the power drain of merging timelines.
I think the triforce is Zelda, Zauru, and Sonia because in the memory “The Gerudo Attack”, we can see how they all use some of the power of light to defeat the molduga. This theory does have one flaw, though. Sonia is the original sage if time, not light. I have another theory as to why that is. In the end of the game, not only do Rauru and Sonia use the power of light, but also Link. If you said “it was because of Rauru’s arm,” you’d be implying that Link could demolish every enemy in the game. Now you might’ve said “Link might not have been able to unleash his power. Zelda had trouble.” Yes, but you’d think Rauru would’ve mentioned his power. I also feel like Link would have better gloom resistance that before. Yes, while in the beginning of the game, he was hit by a powerful blast of gloom and lost hearts quicker than normal, but I think this is because of how much gloom there was and because it was the source of it all. In the final boss, Link could permanently lose maximum hearts, and he was fighting the source and got hit by pure gloom, just like the beginning. This time, Link had the hand, but the same exact thing happened. I Rauru gifted Sonia part of his power, making her a demigod. In “The Gerudo Attack”, we know Rauru wasn’t just temporally gifting Sonia his power, since you didn’t see the same glow that you saw when getting the sages’ power. If sages could transfer power from Secret Stones, we could assume Rauru, the sage of light, can also transfer his power. It’s a long shot, and very far-fetched, but I like the theory.
I think what happened was that he used recall on zelda, amplified by the powers of the other two, that’s why zelda returned to normal as well as the secret stone

My theory; the three goddesses of hyrule Din, Faro and Naydru were all parts of the tri force, and when danger struck they became dragons to protect the elements and hyrule, this makes sense as the color scheming all match the 3 springs, courage wisdom and power, all linking back to the tri-force. They contained the 3 main elements; fire, lightning and ice. They most likely had secret stones but a more pure and strong version, and their draconification caused multiple variants of the stones. And maybe the light and time stones are combinations of all 3 stones. Just a theory though!
Ok, so, if i remember correctly, if you get the true ending of BoTW (Collecting all memories and waiting till the credits end), zelda mentions she seems to have lost her powers. But, this is contradictory since (Little spoiler warning) in the molduga's tear in ToTK, when Rauru, Sonia and Zelda do the big laser thingy, Zelda's hand is brighter since she has both Light and Time powers (Which mineru tells her in another memory)
im glad someone mentioned this. Clearly, the story has just begun with this new timeline (botw and totk), and we see a hint of it in botw. Totk was more of a background story to this new timeline, and the main goal of this story was to explain the secret stones. period. After this, a new game WILL come out which advances the story further past the secret stones, and eventually re address the triforce.
I think that the triforce is hidden within the forgotten temple because that is skyloft and that is where it first appeared and link even held it in skyward sword and it came from the huge goddess statue which is the same one in skyward sword
the triforce has probably split off into the three triforce pieces all across the planet. The land where Yona came from probably has a piece of the triforce. While the zonai took a piece of the triforce with them. And the last piece is hidden somewhere deep in hyrule.

Also, in almost every zelda game, the triforce always splits in three and scatters all over the world to select the people that have wisdom, power, and courage in them.
@CuriousExplorer-ew4dz It's the innate power of the light that Hylia's bloodline has, yes. But Zelda is *shown* to have and use the triforce. Albiet it's powers are seemingly... Less? Point is, she uses it in BOTW, AoC to create a new timeline to save the champions, and seemingly again to imbune the Master Sword to help repair it.

The secrets stones were revealed to be used long before ocarina of time because since Rauru was the first king of hyrule I say that people just forgot about it
Zelda still has it you see it in the dream sequence of her holding the master sword when link takes it, and Sonia mentions she has a sacred power along side the dumb secret stone
I think the Triforce was used by the ancient Zonai to create the sacred stones and then the three triforces were absorbed by powerful Zonai that then became the three dragons we see
My theory is that that time we see in botw and Gannon goes in and tries to grab it is how totk takes place and it is shattered found by monks or something and then they forge it into other objects

The triangles of the triforce are on the ember, charged and frostbite sets. They are known of and would fit coming after skyward sword if they were sealed
I feel like BOTW and TOTK are missing a specific “zelda” feel of castles and knights and stuff. I love both games but I miss some of the twilight princess feeling
My theory is that the Triforce is literally Ganondorf, Zelda and Link. Going back in time, Sonia, Rauru and Ganondorf. Each representing Courage: Rauru, Wisdom: Sonia and Power: Ganondorf. Zelda goes back in time and the first to die is Sonia. Zelda has represented Wisdom in other titles. The catch here is that there are only ever 3 at one time. Zelda’s appearance in the past meant that one had to be replaced. And she “overwrote” Sonia. Then, using a power to Banish Evil (Rauru & Master Sword used by Link) fight Ganondorf the evil. The Master Sword has already been in the past at this point, meaning it’s sole master would need to exist. So Rauru ultimately had to sacrifice himself to seal Ganondorf thus setting up Link, Zelda and Ganondorf/Ganon all existing at the same point in time. And they’ve been locked like that ever since. All ironically had not existed truly until just a little over 100 years ago. Then were all sealed away yet again. Calamity Ganon was a good way of showing where their own strength stood at the time. Proving both Link and Zelda were that much stronger than they were at the end of Breath of The Wild. Having been able to kill Ganondorf. But now that he is gone, there needs to be a replacement for “Power”
My personal theory is that botw and totk take place before even skyward sword, but starting an entirely new timeline where the Great calamity is prevented, and the hylians never retreat to the sky like in skyward sword, thus, the creation of the triforce is prevented, but it still supports the time loop theory.
This is basically just a wild guess and has no evidence to it but on the mural it says that when the Zonai descended from the heavens they had 7 secret stones (Rauru/Zelda, Sonia/Ganon, Mineru, and the 4 sages). And to become a dragon you have to swallow a secret stone. Which begs the question, how did Naydra, Dinraal, and Farosh become dragons if they’re were only seven. They possibly could’ve swallowed the pieces of the triforce, rather than secret stones.
The triforce split apart and went to the people who were most in tune with each virtue Gannon has the triforce piece of Power , Zelda has the the triforce piece of wisdom & Link has the Piece of Courage which is why their fates are Eternally tied but in botw and totk they dont show the marks on the back of their hands as they usually do in other games except when Zelda destroys calamity gannon at the end of botw so its possible that they still possess their individual pieces handed down from their ancestry
after playing through totk a couple of times I'm almost 100% sure that it's in a different timeline, I know that everyone thinks it's a direct sequel but you'd think that zelda would have a clue on who Ganondorf is when she gets sent to the past considering she fought a form of him for 100 years, the complete lack of sheikah tech bar for the tower purah helped build

i think what happened is that certain aspects of triforce were used in totk. Zelda: Her tear made her go back in time.. Or did it? my theory is that with the help of the triforce, it kinda went into the stone making it powerful enough to make her go back. Here's my theory. WHAT IF! The triforce was used to rewrite the history of the whole LoZ series to merge the three separate timelines into one! That's why there's some similarities and references to the other games in Botw and Totk, and somehow different altogether. The obtainable amiibo weapons and equipments in Totk would probably support this theory, as well as other things that I don't have the knowledge of. As for where I think the triforce is, it's a bit complicated: First thought; "It was also wished to never be used again." Something similar to what happened in Lorule in 'Link between worlds', except it wasn't completely destroyed, but loses it's wishing power, and it's sole purpose is to prevent the whole world from falling apart. This will prevent messing up the world of LoZ again Second thought; "It was scattered throughout the whole world outside the Kingdom of Hyrule" Since the triforce was used to create the world (ikdfs), that doesn't mean it only resides inside the Kingdom of Hyrule. As for why, idk. Third thought; "I'm out of ideas"
I've seen this everywhere technically it was seen twice in botw once in a memory and once at the end while both being from zelda there are still 2 In the memory she unlocks the power of the triforce to protect link from a guardian
If TotK takes place in the CT, it's with Link, Zelda, and Ganon. If TotK takes place in the AT, it's gone. If TotK takes place in the DT, it's with Link. Depending on what timeline you think TotK takes place in you ca adjust your answer.
I always say the three games such as Skyword sword talks about power which is a part of the triforce and breath of the wild talks about wisdom and tears of the kingdom talks about courage
I believe all three symbols are lit on zeldas hand, meaning that she not only has wisdom, but the other 2. That may be the "something extra" beyond sacred Hylia light power and Time Sage power when Rauru mentions he can read the energies coming off of Zelda.
The triforce in totk really confused me, because if you’ve read hyrule historia, it says the imprisoning war was when link lost in oot, and ganondorf completed the triforce, and was sealed away by the gods. But now in totk, it has to do with ganondorf obtaining a secret stone and the Zonai sealed him away instead. If anyone has an explanation, pls let me know.
I'm on the Zonai Stones are fractured Triforce pieces. I don't know how else Gerudo King Ganondorf equipping one instantly transforming an already super large Gerudo man into a freak of nature growing even bigger with head horns making him Demon King Ganondorf unless its fractured pieces of the Triforce. Unless these Zonai Stones are totally their own item or entity, which is possible. However, turning Ganondorf into the Demon King, i think Zonai Stones are fractured Triforce pieces.
May the triforce is a Magic Spell that has hidden the mistic Stones into triangles so that Nobody wanna search Them. King Queen and daughter or royal Wizard Had May one of it each.
I believe the triforce still exists but is locked away and has been locked away since the events of TP. Over time it is still remembered though it’s hidden in the scared realm shown in OoT

Theory : since farosh naydra and dinraal are based off of farore nayru and din I think maybe the next game will cover more into the 3 dragons and the triforce, since farore nayru and din made the triforce I think the shards of the triforce will be in the 3 dragons and instead of the main quest being with the 4 regions it’s instead gonna be with the 3 dragons and getting the triforce
If the Triforce broke into ten pieces like this : only power , only wisdom , only courage, wisdom and courage, courage and power, power and wisdom , more wisdom then courage , more courage then power, more power than wisdom , then the three dragons could have each swallowed a secret stone like in one of the previous Theorie about where the dragons are from aka who the dragons are. (I know it could have broken an other way. I was just saying how it could have broken if it broke)

@sans1891 Because the triforce is designed to hold 3 virtues. In zelda 1, the triforce of courage is split into pieces as well, and they don't mix either. They physically wouldn't fit if the wind waker's display of a broken triforce says anything.

I think the Goddesses may be largely absent from the Hyrule we see in BOTW/TOTK; it feels like it’s heavily implied that any sort of organized religion throughout Hyrule was majorly affected by the Calamity at the very least; However, it seems as if the goddesses may be absent even before the Calamity, as Zelda has trouble unlocking her powers when appealing to the Spring of Wisdom. That being said; not many people today are exactly following Zoroastrianism as it was in pre-history; the same logic could be applied to Hyrule as BOTW/TOTK is so far ahead in the timeline that true knowledge of the goddesses may simply be lost, despite their influence on the world
I think ganondorf has the triforce of power because secret stones enhance an ability already present, however ganondorf is never seen using gloom pre-secret stone, so I think the mixture of triforce+secret stone+ganondorf’s inner hatred= a physical manifestation of gloom

I think it’s still there and still split across Link Zelda and Ganondorf, Nintendo just wanted to change things up with BotW and TotK so they didn’t explicitly mention it or make it a primary focus.

I honestly think that botw and totk are both after the events in wind waker and thats why the emblem exists but they cant access it or find it. Or my other theory that the triforce never existed and was just more of a symbol or idea of hylian unity. And that all of the “legend” of zelda games were really just legends in which we play a hero story variant of the botw and totk link as if playing through his legend of a feat he did. And we go through completing the story of his legend and why we see similarities in the events in botw and totk. Also why all the outfits of legend were clothes he can wear as they are a testament or outfit he wore when he did those feats. Almost like all the legend of zelda games were just this heros fables.
They could expand on the triforce if they make a third botw style game, but honestly idk who the next big bad could possibly be since ganondorf was defeated, maybe demise? But honestly I have trouble imagining a way they could possibly top totk.
Well the springs of the different (I suppose you could call them elements?) of the triforce still exist. I’d imagine the actual meaning of it has just been forgotten and it only really remains as a symbol on banners and such
