Reggie is a true Boss, and dominate the circuits in late eighties middle 90's, Ciggerettes struggled after Don death, AGAIN, Reggie is a legend in his Craft! his Son and Grand no joke either!
Me and Greg Abbott ran a 32 with twin Whipple charged 750's 116 mph on Lake Cumberland in 2000! Reggie said he'd sign my toolbox... I didn't think his signature was appropriate on a toolbox. In it yeah...
I lost all respect for fountain when reggie was bragging about out running a pleasure model cat with his fully race prepped boat. He never would go heads up with one.
a Lot of crap happened in the 90's. Reggie started the step hull, cats became popular and 4 stroke out board engines have came a long way in progression for water sports.
Over hyped boats. Rip off hulls. A 29 lighting with 2.5 feet front beak, and a 2.5 feet swim platform leaves you with a 24 foot vee bottom. Much better built boats. I had a Skater and it was sweet.
