It's flattering that a television channel devotes an entire two hour program to your relationship. Very few folks have that kind of microscope shown on their lives. It's great, but I hope there are still some things you guard and that are your own, not for consumption of the general public. You guys actually did a great job of keeping under wraps for a long time, so it only is logical that some of the specialness of your relationship is only owned by you two. It's great to remember all the special firsts of your time together. We still celebrate those times and laugh and we've had almost two decades to look back on them. They're like special jewels you take out of their boxes to look at and marvel about from time to time. They are the simpler times because invariably life becomes more complicated with life, goals, work, kids, and just stuff. And you know what... since staying together is work... looking back at those times reminds you of why you originally made a commitment to each other. Love and hard work never killed anyone. Because you have to believe that your kid will make something small into something big that people will acknowledge.
