Where is the Building Update to The Wild West you may ask? I am going to answer your update questions in this wild west video. The Wild West on Roblox hasn't update in a long time as we have know, and the Building Update has some bad news.
I will be going over the Devblog 8 which is also available in the discord server to view (The Wild West Discord Server is down below). So first we will talk about why the next update to The Wild West is taking so long. The Progression Update is taking so long because The Wild West team had some developers leave The Wild West, which made the update take longer. It is very difficult for them to finish this update short-staffed. Next, there is not a clear date on when the next Progression update will be. They are working on quests, perks, and levels. Next, the devs can't release smaller updates every month because the game is dependent on the Progression Update. Next, Wagons aren't planned on coming to The Wild West. However if we do get lucky Wagons will come in the Building Update. Sadly the Building update won't be coming soon. The Building update will come after the Progression update. The Wild West won't be added to console but the have plans to add The Wild West to Mobile. There will also be changes to combat and maybe quickswitching. Lastly, the Highlands Expansion Update will not be added in the next progression update. It will be added in the Building Update.
There will be new robbery mechanics to The Wild West. There will be new locations to rob and different types of robberies. There will be a new melee system with swings and blocks. There will be new cosmetic items unlocked from leveling up and progressing. Lastly, there will be new environment revamps to The Wild West. Callahan Manor will see some changes and Pinewood Hills will get a revamp.
