Put my bag down and there were signals everywhere! Three days of metal detecting in a German forest where, during WW2, the German Kriegsmarine, Luftwaffe and Gebirgsjäger (special forces) camped out and left a lot of relics behind. World war II treasures in a German Wood!
Small time capsules that have been in the soil for so long that are finally unearthed and see daylight for the first time in 75 years.

Once again: Metal Detecting is not illegal in Germany or most other European countries but you have to have permission. Laws regarding metal detecting differ from each country, province, states, districts and even city municipalities. So before you go out detecting, check out the local rules and laws and make sure to get permission from the landowner.
