I'm sure they would gladly steal your idea and make money from it if you offer

Your best bet is to contact them and ask, dont just shove your idea onto folks. Ask them if they are open to talking about it, and then describe the problem your idea helps solve. Sometimes companies are working on similar problems and wont want to hear an outside idea, just to be safe. Other times, they know its not on the road map and will do an NDA with you and look to talk about it.
