Professional pickleball player Collin Johns explains where to aim when dinking - and how to avoid an area he likes to call “the trigger zone.” Johns says in the video, "The middle part of the kitchen is where a lot of people are taught to hit to early on, because they’re taught that dinking is a good thing. And at the lower levels, that’s a great concept. But it leaves people wondering how to defend attacks. A lot of people end up giving their opponent a lot of attackable balls. Instead, it’s actually far safer to hit the ball very short or very deep.”
