For my wedding I had to buy cheap hurricane candles and pillar candles because I needed close to 150 hurricane vases and pillar candles. I've put together some tips to help all of you save some money. I did some research and I'll tell you where to buy cheap and affordable pillar candles, cheap floating candles and cheap hurricane candle holders in Canada and the United States.

Thank you so much for the info! It definitely will be used. I have a wedding coming up May of 2021. I am doing it at a farm and unfortunately can't use fire😭 My location is pretty light wood like yours and they will have light strings as well. My dream was to have candles on the tables with garlands and flowers (kind of woody and romantic) Do you have any suggestions for candles on the tables that will look pretty without being lit up

Great video thnx so much! Just wondering if the IKea candles dripped alot and if so did you have a whole lot of candle holders to clean? Any tips on cleaning them?

They did drip a bit but I sold them as a set of candles with holders and nobody cared that the candles had dripped. I sold them online in a local marketplace... The girl used them for her wedding and then sold them to someone else again! 😆

Hi! I love your wedding content and decor ideas - you’re completely saving me for our wedding in May. Question about the hurricane vases - How did you remove the price stickers? I bought tons from Dollar Tree and they have stickers on the bottom! Im trying to think of ways to soak them without getting them all dirty with my fingerprints!

Hey Stephanie, if I remember correctly I think we ran the stickered part of each vase under hot water and after like 5 seconds you can rub off the sticker. I vaguely remember making my husband dry each one while I ran them under water, like an assembly line ;). Don't think it took too long!

What color did the ikea candles end up being? It says “natural” is that more white or ivory?

They were a nice light Ivory - not yellowy but not bright white :)

And my fam helped clean up for a bit and then my husband and I did the rest... It honestly wasn't that quick to clean up but the owners let us clean up the day after.

Ok honestly I can't say for sure that these are meant to be used with candles / fire but before actually using them for my wedding I did burn test candles for like 12 hours in them in a safe spot and then at my wedding they were perfectly ok as well. They are glass (not plastic) but you could do your own testing too just to be safe!
