Guide to fabric shopping in central London. I'll give you a glimpse of the fabric shops along Berwick Street in Soho - Borovick Fabrics and Misan Fabrics. As well as a haberdashery and trimming shop - Fan New Trimmings. I'll also show you MacCulloch and Wallis on the next street, Poland Street.
Last stop is Rainburn Fabrics which is in Kilburn hight street.

I have made that new look top and trousers ..I made it twice ...you definitely need light weight woven stiff material... in Jersey the bodice will be wrong. Using the right material for the right project is important...

Ah good to know! I have actually made pajamas now with that jersey fabric. I just traced a pair that I use a lot so I haven't used the Newlook pattern yet. I'll wait until I have the right material 😄. Thanks for your comment and also thanks for watching ❣️
