Renee, EVERY SINGLE PLACE looked just great to my eyes and to my taste buds….and I loved the showoff chef slicing beef at Don Chava - so cute and happy! I am thrilled you had a safe and wonderful time because you work SO HARD, Renee-looking after your home your family 2 dogs 5 cats 2 Junior boyfriends your vlogs your editing your vlogography (lol is that a word?) your curls your parents your fashion shopping your health etc ad infinitum. I am surprised you managed to squeeze in the PV holiday but I am very glad you did. ❣️❣️ to you & Randy.
I'm hearing the Ohio river has been contaminated from the horrible chemical burn from the train derailment. Your water source probably comes from that river. Research this, because they are not telling how bad it is. I'm hearing tons of fish dead and animals dying in several surrounding states from Ohio. Drink only bottled water for you and your dogs.

My SAD news is that I cannot afford a vacay in Puerto Vallarta; My HAPPY news is that I have not gained even one ounce watching this marvellous food video. Maybe my fave menu selection is from Siam Cocina Thai - “Salmon Orange Curry” ‼️ but most likely YUM 💋

It was awesome running into you and your husband in Puerto Vallarta last week. Wish we had a little time to chat but you were just about to get into an Uber. We ate at several of the restaurants that you recommended. Loved the food and loved the city!

It took me 3 years to be able to pronounce Las Gueras correctly! It's a hard one for me because of my southern accent 🤣. But it's one of my favorite taco places so I had to get it right!!

The guacamole is to die for!! I love avocados and guacamole....and I eat it at home all the time. But when I'm in PV and realize how much better the avocados are there...I have to stuff myself with them! They are such much better when in Mexico and fresh!! They are soooo creamy 🥑

I couldn't decide, I love all the food you showed, but maybe my first pick would be Mexican Tacos. I love Sangria, but have you had a Caprioska, I suppose it depends on who makes it, but try one if not, they are delicious. 💖
Although everything look good...my favorite would be the tacos!! I've heard of potato tacos but never have tried them (I'm a ground beef taco lover! LOL). A Food Tour sounds fabulous! Wife and I went to Frankie’s last night. We split pizza and lasagna. Both were really good. We’re hitting Don Chava tonight. Thanks for the suggestion. Edit: Ok. Just got back from Don Chava and Las Gueras. IMO: Las Gueras was better and it wasn’t close. At Don Chava’s had the guac (needed lime which I added but was good). A pastor taco and a mini pastor tostada aka volcan. Super salty and almost no pineapple. Fish taco and the pork chop taco were ok. Las Gueras had a pastor and a carne with bean taco. Both were pretty good. Moist and flavorful.
Oh yay!! I love Frankies! I always get the caesar salad and eggplant parmesan. Delish! And oooooo boy Don Chava! I can't wait to be back there this winter. Have fun!

Great recommendations, Renee! How does tipping work at local restaurants in Mexico. When I have been to Europe it has not been the norm to tip. In Colombia, where I'm from, the server will ask if you want to add it to your tab and they automatically add 10%. But not sure what is customary in Mexico.

Oh wow....thanks!! Honestly when I'm on vacation and have a great tan, I wear minimal makeup. A smidge of blush, mascara, and lipgloss...that's basically it. I'm just happy and relaxed...and it shows on my face 💕

yes....I always stay in the Romantic Zone. I live the vibe of this area with it's local restaurants. There are no big chain restaurants or hotels. Basically in the marina/airport area it looks like you could be anywhere in the world because it's so commercialized. Leaving that area and going to the Romantic Zone puts you in a true local community.

Hi Lori! The condo we rent is in Conchas Chinas with is south of the Romantic Zone in PV. The building is called The Orchid...and all units are privately owned. You can search around online for owners who are renting out their units. Hope that helps!
Renee, on your recommendation we went to Don Chavo tonight. Baked potato and 4 tacos. 2 margaritas and I’m in bed at 9:00pm!!! Great food!!! Thank you! I think my fav was the Al pastor. Handsome hubs liked the pork chop.
Is it safe to drink the Agua Fresca or hibiscus tea at the farmer’s market? I saw the video about not drinking the water so I’m wondering if those are ok. Thanks
You certainly know how to enjoy a fantastic holiday rennee. It's such a super area. It's enviable, your activities. The menus are mouth watering too. Amazing and I coukd always die for the cocktails. I was so thirsty for that orange coloured one in the last photo. What was in it. You kerp nice and slim too
