I dined this a few weeks ago and realised it hadn’t been published. Let me know if this is useful (or not ) and I can get around the rest of the resort. X
You tease leaving the Curry house until the end lol I do have one complaint, you should have mentioned the price of a Chicken Madras, not a Korma, that's not a proper curry 😉
In the restaurants! You'll find locals in all of them at one time or another. I've been to Balcones de Maria on many occaisions. Great family spot with nice views.
Hi where can you recommend in majorca for the 1st week of May. We have a 13 year old , wondering which resort will be best for self catering eating out
What's the point of this if you haven't had dinner there? Hearing about a good restaurant makes sense, reading menus of restaurants you've never been not so much. I ate at on of those first restaurant by the water two years ago and it was terrible.
Hey - thanks for your feedback - I thought in this video I'd try some new content - some people liked it. My reason to make this video is that lots of people come on holiday to Santa Ponsa and it helps give them an idea of where to eat - help them plan a little and get an idea of what there is in this area of the resort. Especially if they are short on time. If I tried a meal at every restaurant, it would also cost a fortune. Can't afford that! LOL! Ps. A good restaurant is totally subjective - a bit like a fine wine. I know of others who loved that first restaurant!
Hi Alex, can’t believe you walked right past restaurant portofino, great menu, nice people and great for people watching, by the way, three of the ones on the seaside are owned by the same company, Russians apparently, if you need any up to date info from a local just let me know, thanks, Russell.
Did I slide by the Portofino ? Thought I was right outside. I will check it out next time I’m down. Didn’t know about the ownership of the premises ! Interesting - it’s a prime spot! Thanks loads for the info !
Have been to santa ponsa 4 times now and have never even been on that side of bay but looks fabulous so thanks for video , found you through wee Kevin so thanks so much 😄👍
Hi Hannah. I have no idea - I'm so sorry. Best check your Government website. And in my video about my experience flying to and from the UK, please see the useful links in the description text below the video. x
@@MallorcaUnderTheSun thank you currently watching you palma nova guid..would you reccomend this resort or alcudia with 9 and 5 year old boys ? Any advice is much appreciated!
Omg Alex. Do you have telepathy?? 😝I chenged my plan to go to Mallorca. I will be there 25 July 3 days earlier than before planning. Then I could find hotel in Santa ponsa!! Thank you for your video, really helpful you are awesome ❤️❤️❤️
@@maxjoshua8515 hi - you don’t need to quarantine on arrival to Mallorca but please check the links in the description text for the specific covid test you’ll need without a vaccination certificate depending on where you are travelling from.
Hi Alex -- I'm staying in both Santa Ponsa and another area for an upcoming trip. I'll be staying near the Palma aquarium but not sure what to call this stretch. Do you have a video covering what's walkable in this area?
Hi Vanessa, this area is called Playa de Palma . I made a video at Easter before the summer opened up. I't's a lot busier now, but this will give you an idea from this point. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--uOS6Dao8gQ.html
I filmed this last month and it was sitting on my go pro which I barely use. It’s a lot more buzzing now though. Also I was there v early in the evening so people were only just starting to come out for dinner.
The views from the restaurants over the water / beach are soo seductive. Looks like a great place for a meal. Yeah you mentioned vegan options in one of the restaurants : ) My request is that you do a specific video on Vegan restaurants on the Island. Or maybe just focus on Palma. I hear Mallorca is very Vegan friendly. All going well I will be there later in the year. Really enjoyed the video. I look forward to the next.
Hey Alex! Great video. Been holidaying in Mallorca for the last 10 years. From Cala d'Or to Alcudia to Palma Nova and Santa Ponsa. Am considering going with my wife and two kids (12 and 8). Was gonna visit Cala Egos. Honestly! Wife and myself are vaccinated. Are we mad? Should we give it a miss until next year?
