For example I have 18 acres with good 30×40 barn and an older modular home. I might entertain 150,000. 5 miles from town of 6000. Internet is fair at best.

@@champagne7530North of the Adirondacks lands you in towns like Malone, Basher falls, or Massena. You can use Zillow. Use the map and search the entire state by zooming out far enough that you can select the whole state. Use the filters to only search for land and set the price under 30000. Then sort by lot size. There are a couple of properties up near Moira NY that look pretty good. Also a lot of the rural counties have poor turnout at there tax foreclosure auctions and there are deals to be found there. you can also look at a county tax map for vacant land and contact the owner or just drive around.

Most of the United States is cold and you can grow only one season of the year. Even in warmer places freeze comes every year and kills the plants. Only a small bit of Florida where you can grow tropical plants like Mango, Guava, and so on. Farm income is taxable in the USA and I would suggest buying land in a tropical climate is better like in India.

I live in an area where minorities are coming in, even starting new businesses. I have heard them say "I'm wanting to get away from my own people". Even whites who move from city to country have culture shock, it's very common. Maybe you're friends issue's were there inability or unwilling to adapt to a new environment.

This is a huge concern for me as well and it has held me back from trying to live the homestead lifestyle because all of the rural living areas I've seen are all whites. Not sure what to do.

There are areas of the country I would avoid due to my wants also. Where I live was very anti slavery and pro union during the civil war, so there are very few blacks here now. This does allow misunderstandings on both sides.

@@jonathanengland6525 northern Michigan 500-5000$ per acre. 500$ per acre in literal middle of state land up north when the state does parcel sell off. Most of the propertys are so cheap because no roads to the property, you have to drive through state land and other private parcels to get there.

Here is what I might do if o were in your she oes over there in Egypt, looking at America, and where to settle, as a whole...I would recommend you move to a city nearby Detroit Michigan, MAYBE Dearborn Heights, which is very very Islam. Now when I lived in Southfield I'm the 1970's..north of Detroit...we had some Chaldean families in our neighborhood and school. I'm not saying the atmosphere was easy for them. But..to go to a rural town in America and try to raise your kids miles away from snybrelatives or old friends...well...I really think its a no-brainer. I think you need to be looking for a COMMUNITY of Egyptians to settle in for a few months...kind of like a bird would LA d on a branch_ before making the very scary and big move into rural America. It is Slightly diverse, rural_ lots of farmland ( being subdivided for affordable housing).

Also...south of School craft Michigan is Three Rivers, Mich. U can take the highway to Chicago in an hour. Good luck, my friend. For one, you would need enough money to purchase the land outright, as a foreign national attempting to get a loan to purchase land would be viewed as a greater risk. Besides that you have the immigration process, though if you have the money you can just buy residency here but that tends to be cost prohibitive as well as not giving you citizenship, but can be an easier path to citizenship of you have the money.

You could find a business partner that's already a US citizen with the sane goals.
