Army Warehouses is probably one of the best places to get good weapons, depending on your skill and playstyle, as well as the faction you pick. If you pick a faction that isn't hostile to Freedom you can easily tag along with some of their patrols: between the Dutyers near the exit to Rostok, the Monolith incursions from the north, and the hostile fauna especially near Bloodsucker Village, the Freedomers tend to die a lot making it easy to get a good weapon early on. If you're very lucky they will get in a fight with Monolith which can get you even better loot, admittedly you're not likely to be using those early on but you can either repair them for later or maybe sell them for Arms Dealer missions
My suggestion to anyone starving for a good gun is to get their hands on a mosin/k98 or L96, then push into Radar from Army Warehouses. No need to make it to the end, just clean up the first few checkpoints and reset, return to Freedom base, sleep on your new loot, rinse and repeat. K98 modernized version with the AP ammo makes quick work of most Monolith squads, just make sure you double tap them before going in for the loot.
@@martinsvilands7334Dead City as Merc works well too. depending on spawn conditions, you can get several fully decked out NATO rifles within the first minute or so of gameplay. Loads of caches too, so getting a few modifications isn't out of the question either. Liminisk being right behind the merc HQ means that the brave or crazy can mug the monolith basically out of the gate, same for army warehouses.
@@NeroLordofChaos Limansk Monolith outposts are nuts though. Too dense and too likely to get reinforcements. Radar has them spaced out, if you don't go above the serpentine road or try to take the camp above radar entrance, you can generally get a couple rifles with relative ease. Radar also has that bunker/hideout thing right next to the serpentine road, which is actually sort of interesting place for a tiny hideout. Lacks space for much storage or even workbench but it's pretty cool as depot for scavenged supplies.
I started a playthrough with the mercs and the first enemy to spawn was a pseudogiant, it killed almost all of the mercs and then I killed it with a toz, I got some good starting loot from this.
Farming ISG in Pripyat is also quite worth it. It's the only way I ever got the RAPTR. I have never managed to make the Mercs or the Monolith drop it. They spawn rarely in the Substation and more commonly in the Ranger Station or near the wall just southeast of the Ranger Station. There, you can farm tons of UNISG soldiers and get some of the best NATO weapon loot.
Nice timing on the videos. Been doing a playthrough of Gamma. Just got my advanced tools and starting to seriously be on the look out for late-game weapons. Also you pronounced mileage fine, gotta love the bass-ackwards rules of the english language.
The Mercs in the army warehouses are my usual go to. Just because most of them drop good weapons with hardly an difference in the weapons they drop so you are more likely to not only get them but to repair them. My hardcore runs usually consist of me running from my designated hideout (usually a place with a mechanic incase I really need supplies or the workbench) then keep doing runs between the army warehouses and there until I can fix up a decent rifle, then a L96, then fix up some decent merc armor cause it takes the longest. After that you should be set to start the main quest 😂
If you're looking for easy clear sky kills (WITHOUT LOSING REP), you can use the cars in dark valley, just jump out right as you send the car full speed into a stalker and it will not count as a kill by you but still have all their loot. Found a Carbiner and great rifles
LTX files in gamedata\configs\items\settings pc_loadouts will tell you what stuff you can get from each faction / rank / etc. In practice though, once I get geared enough, I tend to farm the crap out of Monolith & ISG.
Cheeki, I don't have time to play GAMMA because of starfield and baldur's gate 3. Stop releasing good videos that make me say «ah fuck, I'm gonna play Stalker GAMMA again» !
@@CheekiBreekiTv Plenty of Renegades in the Great Swamp (not that their gear is much better than bandits), and if you go to Army Warehouses to farm then Sin is right next door in the Red Forest, and I found that area to be far safer than Radar. I've also been able to farm UNISG pretty continually in the NW tunnels in Jupiter too, where their low numbers and dead-end location in the tunnels makes them very easy to pick off from a distance.
Nice video Cheeki. L want to ask something,lm founding a stash but if its not visible in my PDA l cant see anything in stash Can you help me how to fix that ?
Okay then, now please tell me how do I get Barett sniper rifles (there is 2 of them in debug mode). I'm not a greedy person I just want the better one xD is it possible?
I got a RAPTR real early on in army warehouse because a legendary freedom guy just happened to be passing through the area and he had one in his hands. I went around a corner, put on a bandit disguise and knifed him in the head. I wasn't able to repair and use the thing for days worth of play time. Unfortunately someone in one of the watch towers in the freedom base saw me, and even after taking off the disguise, every time I would pass through the area he'd get out of the tower and run across the map to get me. Had to kill him eventually.
The guy aggroing at you was probably in the guy's squad. Maybe it was changed in GAMMA, but in vanilla Anomaly the squad of the person I killed would stay hostile even after I took off the disguise.
I take forever to get anywhere in my playstyle, I spend ages in the early areas(Cordon, Swamp, Garbage, Rostok, Wild Territory and Yantar) just running in a loop collecting quests, loot and stashes before moving on to the later areas because I want to be fully kitted out. That means having a good weapon and armor(with upgrades on both) med and food supplies and a decent ammo stock. Since I decided to also collect one of each weapon and armor in the game this also means I tend to have a lot to choose from by the time I start moving into the deeper parts of the Zone. It takes ages to get there, but I feel like it makes the late game smoother.
You can actually consistently find the MP5 Fraiser as early as Great Swamps. On every one of my playthroughs during the Last Dawn quest, one of the Clear Sky stalkers sent to help take the Machine Yard has always spawned with it and it’s very likely that he’ll die in the fight with the military. The only drawbacks are that you need to fight a military force roughly the size of the Cordon checkpoint and they can spawn with 9x39 guns and even an Ash 12.7 a couple times, plus the fact that it requires an army rifle repair kit
+1 as well, also on a dead Clear Sky stalker. While I had the vector at this point, it's a really good reference point for future runs if you need a .45 SMG!
Tried this out, and I think the Frasier has been made more rare or I’m just insanely unlucky. Or maybe Grok saw this comment and stealth nerfed this specifically LOL Made a save before starting the mission/before the Clear Sky boys spawn, and after around 200 attempts over the course of an hour and a half of resetting, not one time did a Frasier spawn. Made sure to check any MP5’s they had by quick saving, killing them, and checking it in their inventory, but nope only basic and suppressed ones. One did spawn with a tricked out UMP though, so nearly as good! Definitely still worth doing if you want to bum rush a .45 SMG
@@RatboyW Unfortunately i have to concur; in my current UNISG run, i've been doing the clear sky questline to get gunsmithing tools and while I /consistently/ had a frasier in the Clear sky squad in the previous update batches, none of them have been in the current tranche of attempts that I've done. So yeah...there goes an easy and amazing .45 smg :')
I got AK 12 with red dot and gp25 right at the beggining of my game when i took a quest to guide group of soldiers, I noticed one of them had this gun, so instead of Yantar i led them to rokie village to die in a fight :D
Been playing STALKER for a few years now and I'm so thankful for people like Cheeki who will go above and beyond to help us learn how to enhance our experience. Thanks so much for these excellent videos 👌
I am surprised you didn't mention UNISG. I have been running into a lot of them in my recent playthrough around Jupiter and Zaton, and I mean A LOT MORE. I feel like I have a bounty on my head from them because I run into them so much. I recently got the RAPTR shotgun and the RD-47, RD-74, and other weapons off of their bodies.
When you trigger the UNISG questline and they start popping up everywhere you're pretty much fully kitted out already 99% of the time so yeah I didn't really feel the need to include them!
disguise mechanics are extremely broken but if your willing to use them, it opens up a lot. Now I can pretend to be a bandit and cash in on all the hit missions on allies. And yes if you get away and take your disguise off they won’t remember it was you. You do lose -10 rep for each kill so you have to make sure you don’t go negative because then they would aggro
I remember on my latest playthrough I really wanted an EF88. despite basically farming mercs in wild territory I couldnt find one so I ended up disguising as a merc, sneaking into dead city, finding a merc with the EF88 and asking him to squad up with me, leading him to army warehouses and executing him.
This kinda stuff of you 'prepping' for the next Invictus run is really interesting. It's a fun peek into the mind of a guy that has played more STALKER than I ever, ever will.
I noticed that as you progress, especially when you are done disabling the Machine and the brain scorcher, you will start seeing good items and armors in Yantar and Rostok.
Since YT decided to play ads for i have no idea how long, its been 3 minutes and its the 3rd spot of chinese Browsergames that i will never have any more connection with than over their stupid AD. :D I want to adress the Title of this video, and propably watch it later. Northeast, Pripyat and Outskirts, like once a ingame-week you can farm monolith and other high ranking enemies. :D
I won't watch this video. Just here to give a view and a like. I wanna find and get excited all naturally and without spoiler. Recently I got my hands on the " Butcher M4 " and Kar. Big OPACHKI
On the spreadsheet it says that you can loot the Vector from Loners, Clear Sky and Mercs. I killed about 300 Mercs, without a drop and about 400 Monolith and they droped two Vectors, both inside the Sarcophagus. I also read online, that quite a few people looted the AR-15 Hera from Monolith.
Seems like it's a good time to restart my playthrough... unless it's not compatible with "Ultimate Gun Pack" (because it's kinda descendant of TAZ pack) then better stop the update...
best you can get with those bandit is part to repair gun and armor or a bit of money, i did that on my unisg game, i was farming loner and bandit for weapon part mostly. same with some military. best way to get those when you have a decent weapon that does good dmg and dont cost an arm and leg per bullet
Very good video, there is nothing to add. Early-mid game, spending more time in army warehouse, dead city or wild territory is probably the best way to get more effective weapons quickly. Once brainscorcher is turned off and late game, any northern map will be good. In my game just sitting in the Zaton ship base, it gets constantly attacked by monolith/unisig/sin ( ZCP option more stalkers than default) , so i get geared up pretty quick.
That's good information, and it matches my experience with Anomaly, since I haven't played Gamma yet. With Anomaly, you will pretty much have standard weapons (AK74, SKS, TOS, MP5, etc.) until you hit Army Warehouses, where you are very likely to find something good on a corpse resulting from some Freedom/Duty/Merc/Monolith confrontation. There's no need to actually provoke a fight yourself. But the real boost in loot comes in Red Forest, where there are so many Monolith and other high ranking faction members. That area in front of Forester's - the mine head - quickly fills up with dead bodies carrying all the best loot. It's more dangerous than Army Warehouses because newly spawning enemies are almost constant, and you WILL die looting corpses if you try and sort through the loot. It's better to just run out, grab stuff, then go to Forester's room and sort through it. I expect Gamma is no different: Red Forest just has so many spawns. To "speedrun" Gamma I expect it's just a matter of getting to Army Warehouses and then Red Forest asap.
Thing about Red Forest near the Forester is that Sin will ruin your day way too often. And since they favour machine guns and other heavy hitting guns in general, as well as that non-stop full empty many of them seem to use, judging by how often I see my bullets hit force fields on them, well, they make an otherwise decent area into a fairly rough fight. And all that aside, they wear these perfect colours to hide in red forest.
just installed i yesterday and i cant find the jellyfish in trash compactor anomaly, right at the start, i think i bugged the game cause after doing like 10 tries i only can find the bread even with the detector and so i cant advance into the story
the jellyfish should be next to the metal crates by the broken tree close to the middle, but you don't need to worry if its broken. that's only a side quest and you'll get the main quest from sidorovich inside the village bunker
