Extraordinarily generous of you to share this video. I'm no longer in the reselling game but often wondered the "where who and what's" regarding wholesale. Cheers.
I did a French Fripe order a few years ago and wasn’t great and scared me off. I’ve been watching Samson and if I do it again I’d happily try his. Love his hustle.
I've been to french fripe a couple of times as its in sydney. They are pretty good at wasting time and pick a lot of good stuff out rather than wholesaling it
Awesome insight! I'm totally new to this scene, very daunting honestly for a newbie! I've been trying to reach out to a few resellers to befriend just to ask silly questions that im unsure of but everyone is so secretive 😂
Love the break down on the different wholesalers! Agree with French Fripe. Absolute garbage. I’ve enjoyed using Rag King too, especially because it’s quite close to me so I can pick up. Actually made a video there earlier in the year. Maybe should post it 😂
Great vid as always. Have used a few of these and Aus Vintage Wholesale recently for Sports Jerseys. Unfortunately the majority were fake NFL Jerseys which I am a collector and seller of. Have reached out to them so will wait to see the response. Keep up the great content 👍
Have you been down to the Rag King Vintage warehouse? Highly recommend visiting and seeing what they’ve got to choose from. Callum holds more varieties of stock that isn’t available online. He’s an absolute legend of a bloke as well and has a wealth of knowledge about vintage.
does Australia even have raghouses? I thought all the surplus/rejects that charity shops didn't want is shipped off to Ghana...where it either ends up in a trash mountain or is sold back to resellers in western countries. Its mafia level what happens with second hand clothes, especially the new with tags stuff that the retailers cant sell. The vintage wholesalers here would have you believe they pay pickers to get stuff from charity shops...I can't see how that is economically viable for them to do that in this country. I assume they're getting their gear in bulk deals too...a lot from o/s.
The Vinnies in Elizabeth SA sends a tonne of stuff to South Africa or similar I think it was. The volunteers were talking about sending a very large amount of items bric a brac etc. The shelves are empty or not great there and a little expensive.
Yeah I think most stuff from oppies that they don’t use gets shipped os. I know about the bins in Sydney but outside of that I’m not sure. Will look into this actually
Where would be the best place for me to contact you in person. I am wanting this video removed or I will be sending my lawyers your way. Please send me the contact details of your legal team
