I went to Queenstown and Saigon Kingdom earlier in the year, i got the chilli and lemongrass chicken it was so good. Still praying for a NZ, Aus bubble so we can come over and enjoy the south island again, its so beautiful.
Such an awesome activity, considering it's similar price to other activities in queenstown it is a really unique alternative way to explore the region 😊👌
Wow guys thats a wonderful view up by the hills and seeing those mountains top! The walk up there could be tiring ! But the results you see if you love outdoors is well worth it! Queenstown South Island is awesome!!
You definitely need to sleep more and have a decent meal to do that hike. At least we do. Haha The views are so worth it though. That Vietnamese restaurant is so lovely. Noodles are always the way to go after a long day.
Omg what a view while riding the horses!! We only get to ride around a circle for horse riding here lol!! The deers are soooo sooo cute!! Then there's a plane on the sky, looks like they're chasing after it haha!
I hope it's a big circle at least 😂🤣 they are totally chasing after that plane! It caught their attention and they all ran to it.. was such perfect timing that we were able to capture it on camera! 😍🦌
The elk are gorgeous. The view between locations was stunning. That's interesting to know you can't run a drone in Queenstown. Those little rock towers. It reminds Butters of what they call "Inukshuks".. they are statues that are made of rock by indigenous typically used as stone landmarks that the peoples of the Arctic use. That view from your hike!! WOW... that is something we would definitely enjoy. Love you guys went for Vietnamese food. That place looks beautiful, and the food looks even more delicious. Can't believe Peter got the Extra Large Pho!! LOLOL Thanks for taking us with you and love you guys to the moon!
Thank you guys! It's another really cool place we're visiting and even the drive to get there.. the one I was saying in our chat about how it was raining so much but there were waterfalls and then you taught me a new word I never knew of lolol trunk road 😂👍
Nice shots for the start of the vid! Wow you guys met some celebrities lol. wow beautiful ride and in such nice scenery! The deers running on the hill was a great moment to capture! Bye bye buster and mr white. whoa Yen you hardly slept! A M A Z I N G views at the top! Congrats on your effort making it to the top! Ooooo yeah pete going the XL pho! True man size haha. Looking forward to next one!
fab u lous darlings , yes i must do the south island next visit, must say that beef pho looked great too , looking forward for next vid already ....... take care now
Ooooo a celebrity horse lol, the stable looks really amazing. Maria loves horse riding, she was doing it since she was young. I on the other hand had a bad experience.
So much space between passengers (0:52)! That's awesome. That was not our experience at all. So glad you guys were able to get away and great choice. Queenstown is one of the places we want to visit the most over there. Famous horses too?! Beautiful area to go horseback riding. Family run businesses like that are the best.
Beautiful views from your horse riding..will go next time in Queenstown. We love Queenstown, we also rented a boat for a cruise of Lake Wakatipu, also awesome activity and not expensive
I think the email country diverse nature thing is such a plus. It is so apparent in South island though, just drive a few hours in any direction and the landscape can change so much 🌿😍
The rock stacking seems to be a thing. Definitely, worth the hike, the view is insane!!! (I think I said that in every of your video hahaha!!) Much needed re-fuel!! Chicken and beef pho - aaah I miss Vietnamese food! Always nice to pair it with springrolls, awh yummy crunch!
The views are amazing. I would probably just sleep there, cause I don't think I would have the energy to go back down lol... And a great way to finish it all with food. I would definitely do the extra-large bowl. Thank you for not making me hungry till the end of the video, now I can go eat lol.
😂 the down hill is a lot better than the constant incline that you'll experience in this climb. My gosh even after low amounts of sleep it really was a bit of a struggle. But would we do it again? 💯
Queenstown is in our bucket list! Even the airport has already got amazing view, whoa you guys met famous horses there, what happen to anybody who've never ride horses before (like us)? would be quite nervous to ride on our own haha
I don't think you need any experience to ride a horse. The ones at moonlight stables are really friendly and well behaved too. We did have a guide with us the whole time too. Highly recommended if you go to queenstown 😁👌
In queenstown u dont need to hunt for the best house for the view... its everywhere u go.... just surrounded where ever u go... such a beautiful part of Otago New Zealand
Amazing video!!! We JUST moved to Queenstown area a few days ago, made a video about our journey down (we drove, but your flight seemed so quick and worth it!!!), and we did this walk today! You captured it all beautifully! Just subbed, can’t wait to see more!
Oh that's wonderful! Congrats on moving to Queenstown. It's such a beautiful place with so much to do! Yea it's a great flight from Auckland to Queenstown.. the views are always insanely gorgeous when you're coming in to land 😍 That walk up Queenstown Hill is great ay? There's lots of other ones too but it's def very beautiful from that summit 🙂 Thanks for subscribing! Have an awesome weekend 🙂
Oh wait, what a view from the flight! Guys it’s just good to see all the airport scenes and traveling vibes, we miss backpacking era… 😭 Wow, look at the wide farm land! You guys are good at riding a horse. I (HK) would be terrified to be on the horse. I love when Jordi supporting and kind of pushing my back when hiking. (mostly it’s to pressure me to go faster…but still😅) And nice wrap up with the yummy noodle soup! It seems like an amazing first day, guys. Thanks for sharing. We felt like traveling the road with you guys. 👍
😁 🐎 I think it might be scary because horses are so big but then when you get on the fun outweighs the fear 👌 you guys gotta try it sometime. Makes the scenery you're surrounded by even more beautiful.
Hey Peter and Yen! That's so awesome you're going to take a domestic flight. You guys are going to take us to some amazing places. What a stunning view from the airplane. That's cool you're going horseback riding. So awesome to see Fred who was in Lord of the Rings! That's cool you can freely ride your horses there, aren't guide led. $120/person isn't bad, for such an awesome experience.
I think $120 nzd is a great deal considering you're in queenstown. Plus where else will you see lord of the rings horses 🐎 😁 might be domestic but it's still overseas 😂
The horse riding experience is so great! Wowww even the horse is famous from the movies. Awesome! I don’t remember doing a horse riding before but definitely will put the activity on the bucket list for sure. Thanks for sharing guys!
@@PeterandYen awesome. Enjoy your time down here. Make sure you stop by the Blue Pools on your way to the West Coast. The roaring Billy will impress you with the amount of prayer rocks. Have fun.
Wow this is amazing! Will be studying in New Zealand next year as an international student, so these tips are very great in terms of travelling around the country. 💪🏻
Queenstown is amazing. Its the one place in the world I wish I can return too. I only scratched thr surface the first time i went but id love to try all the things you guys have done :)
The views coming into Queenstown are so stunning 🤩 Famous horses! Awesome! Ex on the beach and Air nz safety haha 😆 Aww the horses are so cute! That looks so fun! Must’ve been hard to film while riding? 😅 That place looks like a movie setting. Beautiful views! Seems worth the hike! Yummy Pho 😋.
They're just amazing ay? Really love that view flying in! I was so lucky had the 2 seats next to me free so had the whole row to myself 😍 it was hard to film while riding lol.. had to use our GoPro which meant it just wasn't as close up as we would've liked but got some awesome shots still like when the deer chased the plane! ✈️🦌🦌🦌😍
Awesome first day guys. How good was that weather! We did that walk also last time we were down there (sat on the same rock as you to take in the view 😀) and loved it.
😂 that rock is the perfect spot to soak in everything going on around you. Such an amazing spot. We were like as soon as we can see a few days of sun in the forecast we're doing it. Lucky it held out for most of the trip. BTW we are back in Auckland if you guys are free?
Beautiful countryside 🤩 So cool that you were able to see deer as well. We were in Queenstown about 10 years ago and we loved how spectacular the scenery is around there. Wish we'd done that walk up Queenstown Hill - sounds tough but worth it!
😁 queenstown hill is 100% worth the effort. Didn't expect to be treated to such a magnificent view of the area. The deer 🦌 and elk were awesome. We were lucky a plane flew by and all the deer decided to chase it 😂
P&Y youve done it again! Awesome vid showcasing our beautiful country. Ive jst been from the south island - flew to chch, drove up to Kaikoura...beautiful is all i can say. Next will be the Hawkes Bay in a few months cos you guys have inspired me to see NZ.
Hey Jessica 🙂👋 thanks so much for the kind words! That sounds like an awesome trip. We'd like to go to Kaikoura too.. another time for sure 👍 did you see any whales or dolphins? Hope you have an amazing time in Hawkes Bay too! Let us know what adventures you get up to 😁
Definetly will do. We booked whale watching on the 2nd to last day of the trip & it was cancelled due to lack of visibility/extreme fog. Our session was at 1pm & it was a sunny warm day but surprisingly the visibility was def low! It was amazing to see, never seen anything like it before. Thanks guys, love your content & always sending a link to my mates! 😊
😂👌 its a very distracting part of New Zealand especially if you're driving want to look up and all over the place at all the cool things you're driving past
Wow that view from the plane was incredible! Also LOL I have the same car that you guys rented, except here it's called a Prius C! I've never heard it called an Aqua before 😂
Such an amazing view right! Can't get sick of that view 😍 Aqua is just a different model hahah not a diff name for Prius 😄 They're both hybrid cars tho. I believe Aqua is a bit cheaper than Prius though?
So jealous you guys went to Queenstown 😍😍 We would love to visit back again next time especially during summer time. How good was that feeling to be able to fly again guys!
Omg that Saigon Kingdom is so familiar. We remember eating at the restaurant on the last day when we went to Queenstown. The food was so good! It definitely hit the spot. We went there with super empty stomach too hahaha 😂
Thought he looked like Fred 🐴😉... very beautiful and of course, the best part is always to see what kind of Asian food you guys find in your travels... 🍜 looked tasty...but no fresh basil or sprouts? 😢 Great vid👍👍 🏔
😅 yeah that's the thing with vietnamese food here in New Zealand, you won't find the platter of fresh herbs to accompany your noodle bowl. Unfortunately due to the climate herbs 🌿 are pretty expensive here in New Zealand you do normally get some sprouts in Auckland though 😁
Awesome vlog! I loved the interactions you two had with the horses and your ride. The wildlife, scenery and food were amazing! With your vlogs so far in NZ, if we return, we will need to stay like for a whole month! I know the scenery from your next few vlogs are going to be spectacular! I am curious why Yen only had less than three hours of sleep before your flight (I remember flying on JetStar in Australia).... which one of you researches places to visit and eat..... thanks for traveling and posting (scheduled regularly).
Yo Ray, Peter here I'm usually the planner for our days. I try and make sure they aren't over planned and so we have enough room for flexibility during a day if we enjoy something a lot and want to stay longer. We had to wake up around 5am for the early flight plus to allow time for vlogging at the airport and since we're late sleepers yen only got a couple of hours of 💤 😅 we are kinda used to it now but it did make that walk a lot tougher 😂 1 month only? We need to try harder hahaha
