Where to put toll bridge transponder on Subaru windshield 

Helpful nugget of info regarding eyesight feature. I live in a gated community which uses a transponder like device affixed to the windshield so residents can enter easily. I have been using the visitor entry side for fear of messing up the Subaru’s eyesight feature. I will try to place the transponder on the side of the windshield.

I have a pretty bulky dash cam located just to the right of the rear view mirror mount and an iPass transponder just below the mount with zero problems.

I stuck mine to the back side of my rear view mirror for tolls.

I placed my EZPass transponder just below and centered between the Eye Sight with no issues (11 months ago)

What about a dashcam placed in the centre? Would that interfere with EyeSight?

I had mine well out of the way and it didn't matter. I got a major warning that my Power Steering was malfunctioning. It scared the crap out of. I had no idea when I bought the car that the Eye Sight feature would be such a nightmare.

Why does the toll pass interfere with eyesight? I placed my pass right behind my rear view mirror. Been there for a couple weeks without issue.

My turnpike doesn't want it on the side so they suggested the sunroof. Put it on the inside of it and works fine in the 2 states that it is good for.

Hi Alex I follow all your posts,i just want to get your opinion I got a 2024 Outback Onyx It’s been 4months , Upto now I’d been in and out of the dealer, my StarLink is not working , totally Off I told them what’s happening with your quality control, this is a brand new unit. Now the latest advisory is “ it’s a factory defect “ they will be changing the entire module ! It’s not available here in North America and USA It’s coming from Japan, ETA is end of November or December Any suggestion ? I am totally upset, this is my 2nd outback, with my 2019 ascent so far no issues. Thank you

That's complete bull, you are leaving out information: Only if you put it in direct line of sight of the cameras, not on either side of the cameras.
