Thank you so much for this video! I am always picking hotels that don’t meet my needs during stays in Paris. I will definitely follow your recommendations in the future. 😄
My secret is safe; despite being just yards from one of your picks, my favorite Paris hotel wasn't mentioned. =) Fun fact; George Simenon's fictional Inspector Maigret "lived" at 21 Place des Vosges.
Hello. I like your content and commentary in this video by mentioning the price range, hotel vibes, attractions and food nearby the hotel as well as what personality the hotel best suited for. Can you also do videos on air bnb for longer stays like two weeks above?
@@LesFrenchiesTravel Le Rampart is at the corner of Rue Castex and Rue Saint-Antoine. Yes 100m from Place De La Bastille/Metro. Lot of outside dining on Rue S-Antoine is BAD! A lot of locals especially at lunch and Happy Hour. Billy Walik Bainbridge Is. WA and Roanne Fr.
We are so thankful and excited we found your channel ! My husband and I and another couple will be in Paris in just a few short weeks and can’t wait to explore. Thank you for the fantastic videos. We love your channel!
We just got back home from our first trip to Paris and your videos were so helpful. We actually stayed a hotel La Temise and it was fabulous! They have family rooms / suites there and it was perfect for us with two teenage daughters. The location was wonderful and the staff was amazing. My wife and I are looking forward to going back alone for new years this year.
Wonderful video! The Pavilion de la Reine was truly wonderful when I stayed there last year! The staff were very nice and the feel is luxurious and elegant!
Bonjour and Hello Antoine and beautiful Colleen! I hope that this little message finds the both of you doing well and living your best lives. My husband Ray and I are big fans of Les Frenchies!! Please excuse my excitement. We are in love with your channel and watch you all whenever a new video comes out. Please don't stop. You are such a great joy to watch. I am a children's book illustrator and writer here in Charlotte, NC and while my husband of 27 years has traveled for work and all this will be my first trip overseas and we are so thrilled to be coming to Paris for the first time. Random House and Penguin Books wanted me to do some school visits while visiting in May, but I do understand that May is a holiday month for most of Paris. We will be in Paris May 1-15th 2022. I am wanting to do a picture book about a little girl going to visit her Grandparents in Paris and you guys have now become my MUSES for this book! Oh I study your beautiful faces and personalities as much as possible to get it right. I am a African America woman and I just had my DNA done and found that I have many family members in Paris. Of course this blew my mind and made me want to visit even more. I totally get that there are so many people that want to meet with you both and that you have a travel agency if I am correct? There is no telling how many strange people reach out to you all asking the same. LOL! I get it LOL!! I know that you both are so very, very , VERY busy as am I. I was writing to find out if we could meet while in Paris or to find out if you do private or public tours? I am very interested in seeing the children's books, Toys, and art stores. Also wanted to meet you both so that I could take some pictures with your permission of course for the book. I totally understand if you don't have time or if you are not all interested. No worries at all. I am just SOOOOO very grateful for the joy you both bring to this crazy world. Thank you for spreading your incredible joyful spirit! You both are more of a blessing you then you will ever know. I will be watching you both. Thank you for all you do to bringing the joy of traveling into our homes. You are the best! Merci Beaucoup! Hello Antoine and Colleen, I loved your comment about mobility issues. Can you tell we are probably in a similar age group 😄 Were you two in media? I visited Paris twice. Once stayed near Rue Cler which was lovely. I’m loving your content - so much better than younger travel channels. Your videos are perfectly researched, authentic, relaxing and entertaining. I became a Francophile when I first heard the language as a child. I studied French for 3 years in school. Your channel is inspiring to plan another trip. One request: looking forward to your take on the smaller villages and different regions. One other request: exploring locations from movies like Amelie, etc. I’ve subscribed and informed my other Francophile friends. Thank you!
I love you guys and I love your videos! Would you, please, do something about the Paris City Pass? I’m visiting Paris in August and I can’t find anything about this pass in the Office de Tourisme de Paris. Thank you!
I love your videos and I just booked one of the hotels you recommended! Merci! We're visiting in the middle of April and I'd love to see a video from you both with suggestions for a 3-4 day itinerary (ideally that avoids the main museums).
Merci mille fois de ce vidéo ainsi que tout les autres. Je suis mon sôt où aller et rester pour mon séjour à Paris. Thank you so much and best to you three. Maybe we'll bump into each other and have un appéro en bonne compagnie. Your friend on the Canadian West Coast - DANIEL aka BLUE
Great video. We are currently booked on Rue de Turenne just off Place des Vosges. So now I have an excellent list to look at to upgrade our stay in May.
Temple de Jeanne was way beyond our expectations. The staff was wonderful. We actually stayed in 2 different rooms. And loved them both. The metro was right outside the front door next to the merry go round! Wow. Thanks for this vid and info
I watch and love all your videos. Can I ask you a question? I am coming from USA, I am 73 years old single woman travelling alone. I wonder if I can buy Eiffel Tower tickets on line before I come so that I won’t have to wait on very long lines how much are the elevator tickets to the top also same for Louvre Museum. If you can answer me I will really appreciate it, those landmarks are the most famous that I have to see. This is my first time visiting Paris and I don’t speak French. Thank you and have a great time.
Thank you so much - I appreciate your videos. I am from Luxembourg and my partner and I love Paris. Your recommandations give every trip a new highlight. Thanks thanks a lot. Love you🤗😘🙂🙂
I’m coming to Paris with my daughter for her medical school graduation. I’m thinking about an Airbnb . Any recommendations? Thinking of the Le Maris area or maybe Momarte . Wanting a balcony . Just discovered your channel . Thanks you for the great information 😀
I love your channel so much. Thank you so much for another wonderful video.💗💗 I am always finding a reason to fly to Paris. 😂 My next visit will be in April and I decided to stay at the Hotel ChouChou. Have you heard about it?
@@LesFrenchiesTravel Hi guys! I just got back from a new French bakery in Greenwood Indiana. Croissants for dinner! Will be back over in Paris as soon as we can keep making those great videos
What is the restaurant with the pink flowers at 3:56? Is it any good, or is it touristy? Are there any hotels in the Marais that have washer/dryer? Thank you, Les Frenchies, did these neighborhood focused videos with hotel and restaurant recommendations!
I just stayed at Temple de Jeanne. Very unique hotel and all of the staff were wonderful. Would stay there again. A great central location with the metro right out the door.
When are you going to show us a faded one star in Pigalle?! 😅 Ps how about an episode on the French equivalent of Pensiones? For example, retreat guest houses run by different non-profits.
Thanks for sharing. . are you able to showcase the budget accommodations next time. We stayed at one of the ibis hotel back in 2018 but wish to explore more something closer to the central hopefully in 2023. Thanks xxx From the land down under here
Ha! You listed my regular stay in Paris: le Jo-Bo! Been staying there for many years from when it was still called le Saint Paul. The remake into the Jo-Bo was brilliant. But for me, there are two other attractions you didn’t list. 1) the team who run the Hotel have mostly been there since long before the remake. They remember you even if you haven’t been back in a few years, covid oblige. And you remember them. It feels a bit like visiting old friends. 2) right opposite the hotel’s windows on rue Sévigné is the fire station of the Sapeurs Pompiers. Their comings and goings are a. sight for sore eyes if you like good looking men 😊
I love your videos! We are coming to Paris in May and I booked at the JoBo after seeing this. Do you have a video exploring restaurants and bars with great views?
I just love the both of you. You are very informative. My husband and I will be in Paris in August. I have started a book on what to see, eat and do. You are just amazing.
I love your blogs n videos, I have a question. We are staying near montmatre n supposed to check out on 03072023...is it worth it to spend the I dependence day in Paris? Or keep on moving to Avignon?

After all the research i understsmd that Latin Q ,Le Marias are the good ones .I would love tp stay in boutique hotel for the experience but sont know if we can be accomodated .Also my deal with the toom is Clean n crisp. We looking at Edouardo 7 and many others in similar range..any suggestion from u?
Very nice! Thanks again for responding to my wife’s messages. You gave her confidence on traveling to Paris with her Mom. She’s there now and will be there for a couple of more days. Thanks again!
Nice but those prices, wow. When converting from Aussie dollars to Euros, if you want to stay for ten days and include air fare , transportation , meals and attractions for two adults and a child; you need a small fortune…..Paris is very nice and has fantastic food/ wine but , it s very “ cher “. I used to live there as a child , between 1980 and 1984 , close to the Invalides. Hopefully we will be using your travel guide in the near future…. Love your channel and videos , good work.
