To my opinion Montparnasse (north of 14th, south of 5th and 6th) is the greatest option of the left bank. For tose loving french food. I would add the area of 'Placed'Italie in northern 13th arrdt that would those loving asian food and the marvels of fifth.... It's all close by foot and so safe!

I agree, the area of Montparnasse can be a good option too, near the metro station of Vavin is less noisy. We can say that it is near to the center for those that love walking. During the day crossing the Luxembourg garden to reach the river is a pleasure. The area of Place d'Italie could be a bit less "Parisian" looking, but a good option too due to the good asian food around and the street art at la Butte aux Cailles. Thank you for your contribution!

We just spent six weeks in Paris from APRIL TO MID MAY. We stayed oat an air bnb on St Germain Blvd. The location was excellent with plentey of bistros and fine dining restaurants. We were only blocks from Notre Dame Cathederal. The transportation system is excellent so transport is very reasonable and efficient. We also use G7 cab service which we downloaded onto our phone. It is excellent. Always on time with excellent drivers and vehicles. We highly recommend them..Hope this is of some help. Also if you have the time take a day trip by train to some of the nearby villages you won't regret it. Bon Journey.

I love Paris and I have stayed in Montmartre (twice) which my wife and I loved but also the 11er. It’s not a funky happening place compared to some areas, but we found great restaurants, funky cafe’s and a fantastic weekend market where we discovered a stall selling 37 different types of butter!!! We stayed at an Air BnB on the Bld Voltaire near the Voltaire metro. It was perfect to be able to get around Paris and the locals were really lovely and loved chatting to us about Australia (where we’re from) and just about what we thought about Paris and France. And the wait staff were also really nice😁

Hello, thank you for such an amazing video. What neighborhood do you think would be the best for a married couple traveling. However, my husband is in a wheelchair.
@StrollsParis
@StrollsParis 2 года назад
Hi Tiffany, thank you for your comment. All neighbourhoods can be romantic in Paris, but I think that if your husband is on a wheelchair the most practical would the 1st Arr, as the sidewalks tend to be a bit larger and the surface flat. I would look for a place near the Place du Marché Saint Honoré for example. Be sure that your hotel has a large elevator and comfortable installations as many of them are old and spaces are reduced. I hope this information helps and that you guys have a great time in our beautiful Paris. ps: and if you're looking for a private custom tour remember you can hire us at www.strollsparis.com

Awesome information..but can you give a recommended hotel/hostel name for the travelling on budget..thx 🙏
@StrollsParis
@StrollsParis 2 года назад
There is a very large variety of hostels around the city, like the Christophers Inn (Gare du Nord and Canal Saint Martin), the Generator Hostel (near Stalingrad), or the Les Piaules (near Nation area). We do not usually give names of hotels as we have not personally tried them so we encourage you to search according to your budget and style and look for references from previous customers on TripAdvisor to be sure it is exactly what you are looking for. ;)

Hi, could you tell me if we are visiting for the first time I'm finding for a place to stay wen I come down right away cud u share me some advice how to find an apartment/ room please?
@StrollsParis
@StrollsParis 2 года назад
I recommend you to always look for accommodation in advance as hotels, apartments and rooms tend to usually get fully booked. I think Airbnb works quite fine, if there is nothing available in Paris center (like the places I mentioned) don't hesitate to look in the southern suburbs. Try to make sure your accommodation is near the metro or train (RER) to be able to access the city and the highlights quickly. ;)

@@StrollsParis I have another question, cud u explain about CAF if u know? How the process happens? And thank youuu so much ❤️
@StrollsParis
@StrollsParis 2 года назад
@@misaunkweon2583 The CAF is a family allowance fund (caisse d’allocations familiales) a body governed by private law, with departmental jurisdiction responsible for paying individuals financial benefits of a family or social nature (legal benefits), under specific conditions by the law. You can learn how to benefit if it by going to the official site www.caf.fr/ 😉
@StrollsParis
@StrollsParis 2 года назад
@@misaunkweon2583 If you're looking for a place to live for a longer period of time you can consider looking for a "collocation", which means that you share a flat with other people and you get a room. That is easier than getting your own apartment or studio rental. There are many websites that help you connect with people that rent a room for a long-term. You can check this one for example: www.lacartedescolocs.fr/colocations/fr/ile-de-france/paris

What are the average prices around district 15 to stay in an average hotel?
@StrollsParis

It will depend on the time of the year and the type of accommodation (hotel or Airbnb) but you should be able to find a descent place for about 100€ per night. ;)

Fun video! Thanks to the author of the channel for this fascinating video! It is interesting to see how people live in other countries! It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign langua

Thank you for your comment Matilda! Learning languages is fascinating as it allows to learn so many other things around it! A few words to start a conversation or ask key things will do to have a fun trip and experience a new culture. 😉
