Here's my 7D6N Taipei, Taiwan Itinerary!
It's my 6th time in Taiwan, 5th in Taipei itself, and I've already been to most of the tourist spots!
This time round, I'm back to revisit some spots I really enjoyed and miss after all these years - check out where I decided it's worth revisiting!
Got to see some new places that I've never been, so nice to see many new aesthetic vintage shops in Taipei!
& of course, the alpaca farm many of you asked on my IG (@speishi) 😘

oh it was a 28 minutes video, it didn't feel like 28 minutes hahahahahah (i realised after you said it was a 'v long video') this definitely helped me in planning for my family tw trip too! but just curious, what happened to the bug bites in the end? was it the hotel or random places outside of the hotel? and did it heal quick?

@speishi hopefully it heals soon! Those look really painful. I remember myself getting a ton of bites on my lower legs when I went to Taipei back in 2019 may, and it took a week or two before they are gone 😅 not sure where did I get them either

Peishi, have you ever gotten sick from eating streets food while traveling? I love street food from markets but I’m always afraid my stomach won’t like it 😭 especially in foreign country. Do you take any special medication or do anything before traveling to prepare so you don’t get sick?

Byul, basically u need to avoid common food poisoning risks such as raw seafood, raw or rare meat and cross contamination of cooked food with them. Not forgetting, final products that are not properly covered and handled with bare hands. If u’re from Korea, basically Taiwan street food should not be a problem for u as it would not be hard for u to see if the hygiene levels are upkept

It is commonly joked that Singapore stomachs cannot take street foods because we don't have the immunity against the bacteria lol. To be on the safe side, pick foods that are just cooked and are hot. Avoid those stalls with foods that are put out in the open for don't know how long. Best is those that you can see them cooking/grilling it when you order. Avoid those cut fruits that are left out in the open. For chilled drinks, pay attention to how they make the ice. Sometimes they use tap water that our stomach may not be used to, considering that Singapore's water is heavily filtered and treated, so we may not be used to other countries' tap water.

Take a high speed rail train from Taipei to Hsinchu, then from Hsinchu station, you can either Uber or taxi or take a bus (台湾好行) to Green World Ecological Farm. It should stop you at the shuttle bus stop where another small bus will pick you up to the farm itself :) you can check their website for bus details etc.

could be dust mites also... they have a similar looking bite but... hers looks like her skin is super sensitive so hard to pinpoint... looking at it now... it could be a chigger bite but idk if they have those in asia or not... they are super itchy tho
