Live? Sitting?? Crossed-leg?! Voice not in good condition?!?! The Asia's Phoenix never fails to amaze us! It is not her original but she slayed it! She is Johanne Morissette Daug Amon Lamar, Morissette or Morissette Amon in short is a 26 years old Filipina singer, songwriter, producer, and a former actress... She can sing in any music genre and she had mastered a lot of vocal techniques (vocal cry/vocal break/squeak is the best example) that even the GREATS have only masterized some! Just like other Filipino singers, she mostly sings LIVE (no autotune, no lipsync, etc.) Most/all of her fans including me agree that she sounds better LIVE than recordings. Her voice was not even in 100% during this performance because she was been overbusy that made her voice tired. Despite not 100%, it is still PERFECTION! You've only witnessed one side of her out of HUNDREDS so can't wait for more! She has many performances to look but you might wanna start with her original song "Akin Ka Na Lang" LIVE at Wish 107.5, her cover of "Rise Up" by Andra Day LIVE at Wish 107.5, and her cover of "Never Enough" LIVE at Wish 107.5
I think you should actually dive deeper into this vocalist. The range and emotive brilliance of this girl is actually hard to believe. The Phillipines has wonderful and talented singers and I have enjoyed my journey checking them all out as should you. The problem is you started at the top with this girl in my opinion. Not only the best in the Phillipines she is one of the best in the world. I'm not a person who is prone to being a fan. Im just a person who loves a great vocal like yourself. Morissette is a phenomenon. Her emotional transference is so powerful it locks you into every single performance. She becomes an addiction. She has 30 more performances that will rock your socks. The song means "I Want to Let Go". Try listening to her singing that same song but with the live band - Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw (live band performance). She's phenomenal there, in my opinion.

The passion of betrayal,realisation you’re losing the love of your life and having to make the decision whether you fight or walk away with your heart bleeding and finally defeated acceptance of walking away. Morissette’s Rise Up cover on the wish bus is also quite powerful, and she did a wonderful acappella version ft. 3rd Avenue. Hope you get to check out her EP that came out last year called Signature. All five songs are amazing but Mirror is my favorite and the actual music video for Phoenix hits the feels with some clips from her journey and the Philippines. All the live performances are so good of course, but the RX93.1 Monster Anniversary is my favorite set. Her live cover of Listen at the Theater Solaire is off the hook!! Her broadway covers on Live on Stages Sessions were also brilliant. this is unusual, normally it is in English and Mori has done many Wishbus performances, all brilliant. She is not a "one trick pony". She does stage, pop, covers, home concerts with her piano or guitar and original music (Signature EP was the latest). IMHO she is at her best when live.
Many popular artists from all over the world are good only in their own genres and comfort zones but Mori is different. She sings and performs in all genres. She has more technical skills than anybody else. 🥰

She's had a lot of great Wishbus outings - and with many other venues, but her official YT channel, which she created just over a year ago, is a minefield of must-hear-to-believe Mori performances, both covers and originals. Morissette is the WishBus queen and she is one of the main reasons the bus blew up in RU-vid. A word of caution sir, once you dive into the Morissette rabbit hole, you may find it hard to be able to come back out.
Thats why I've mentioned suggestions several times in these YT comments sections "delete the upload of this wishbus live" and let be her studio live remain in the web because shes in her normal power there ! So that justifications like this being not in her 100% will be illiminated and be forgotten. I really dont expect anyone would listen but its not pointless to cast my voice with a certain sense.

She does so many Genre's and all of them really well R&B, Pop Rock, Power Ballads, Broadway, Gospel....she is on the verge of becoming a world wide superstar!! I would suggest starting with some Wish Bus 107.5 live performances and then go from there... happy hunting!!
ARGUABLY…But I would agree. I grew up listening and appreciating the god-given talents of voices like Whitney, Mariah, Celine and a select few…however, I have never heard of all of those talents in one voice. Unbelievable. For me, the way she tells the story is what separates her from the rest (that voice and talent though, duh, is a no-brainer).

@@thecarlob_007 Back then I have no idea about her, she was once an annoying person that keeps appearing in my yt suggestions but I didn't click on any of those Morissette videos. I am a Filipino who grew up liking and listening to the music of other countries that's why I only have a small knowledge about Philippine singers. This girl still keeps appearing in my yt and one day, I saw a video about her singing a Tagalog song (Akin Ka Na Lang) on Wish which made me curious. I was like "She speaks Tagalog?", "Is she a Filipina?" which I found out she is so when I click on that Wish 107.5 video, BOOM! My whole life was changed! I have heard many great newly generated artists around the world. In fact, the two artists that I really top when it comes to vocals is Morissette and Dimash but I still prefer Mori, for me there is one thing that Morissette gives to me that Dimash isn't, and that is the emotions or getting the soul of the song. I only discovered Mori for 4 months and there is no day that I didn't listen to her! Honestly for me, she is the BEST AMONG THE REST!
