These volunteers do such a brilliant job in ensuring the existence of the Wherries continues on. I think we all assume that they just get stored over the Winter months until they reappear in the Summer season. So many hours of dedicated work which has been highlighted by you showing us Leasa. Thank you for sharing the experience of your visit.
Oh yes, I’d forgotten that, one of the Heritage Open Days. We visited Wherry Hathor at How Hill and then Wherry Albion at Ludham. I’ll find that video and link it to another…. Yet to be filmed 😉….. wherry video. Thank you for that 🙌⛵️📸
Without the passion and love and enthusiasm of these guys we wouldn’t see these beautiful vessels on the Broads. Massive respect to those that put in so many hours. I shall appreciate a Wherry passing even more now I’ve seen this. Thank you
hi lisa, well done to you for getting close up to the work involved and well done to the people who keep these wonderful boats going all year. best wishes leonard.
