This show came on during a BUZZR Betty White marathon today. I hadn’t seen it since I was 5, but I when I saw the intro it unlocked a memory!

Don't forget announcer Rod Roddy. R.I.P. to both.

I have a hyperactive imagination; especially today. Every time I see this cartoon intro, I think about my older brother's "tough guy personality" and the lessons I learned from him all those years.

@@samturner64 They have to sort out those technical difficulties. Otherwise, it would be a near perfect channel. GSN continues to suck, on the other hand.

I was just thinking earlier it could make for a fun comedy game on TBS if it was brought back.

TBH, why not have ABC revive it. They could play two full games: Multiply the dollar amounts in the front game by ten. Same format. The board would be computerized of course. The Gauntlet would look similar but also be comprised of computer screens. Winning contestant gets 60 seconds plus one second for every $1,000 they win up front. Completing the Gauntlet is worth $50,000 (or a $1,000 per right answer if time runs out)! However.. If the contestant wins the game in a SWEEP, they play the third round against the villains (just like Celebrity Whew!) and IF the contestant charges all the way to the top of the board in 60 seconds, not only do they win the extra money, they play the gauntlet for $100,000!

Maybe they can keep these 10 villains if a remake is possible.

@@briansheil9763 if sent to ABC for that remake consider the networks owner is disney so these villains probably won't age well, instead let the gauntlet be ran with Disney's most recognizable villains for up to $1,000,000 in cash let the board be computerized, multiply the front game cash 10X, run the gauntlet in computer screens, winning contestant is playing this 1 second for every $1000 paid up front and recalculate the math for $1,000,000 play 2 full games, and if the player wins both games let them play a third game for up to $100,000 in cash against Disney's own villains so let game 1 be the original $25k to its winner, game 2 be $50k, game 3 is $100k with the million dollar gauntlet of villains

🌚They should do a NIGHTTIME version of this game show and the ones who successfully beat all 10 villains win $100,000. with a chance to win $1million at the last episodes of the season.🌚

Maybe this Whew! opening can be remade for the HBO Max Jellystone! cartoon (or maybe a Family Guy cutaway).

I wish I was the girl in the foreground of the animated intro. I even love her wet-looking hair shown at the end.
