I got the gun, then getting the sword in the selector and will have another sword in the standard banner. Havoc MC and Sanhua needs one each because I want them to be on the same team.

Regarding to weapons ATK stats is also important to reminder that buffs for ATK ( e.g.Verina's skill , healing set buff ) scales only with "white" ATK stat which comes from Character and weapon only

Doesn't help that with the current cast, the 2 weapons with crit rate are also for some of the strongest characters/most diverse characters out rn. making the choices not so difficult to make. Kuro has really spoiled us by loading us up with these 5 stars weps and plus everything else we've gotten.

Sword+Gun from standard banner/weapon chooser for 5 star also makes sense, Battle Pass the broadblade is a good option, and Stringmaster for rectifier seems ideal to cover bases so far

Another reason to get the sword and gun standard 5stars is cuz they are the only ones with crit rate while from the battle pass those are the only ones without crit rate but the others all have crit rate. So this way you can easily secure 1 weapon of each type with crit rate on it

i got the broadblade from standard banner cuz its the best weapon for calcharo rn and i can also give it to jiyan as well so its 1 weapon 2 main dps upgrade, big poggers

You can see how good mtashed is as a cc and guide maker.....He knows the perspective of f2p and knows how to optimize stuffs he is the goat.

Very easy. Get F2P sword then hold. Get P2P Yinlin's rectifier cuz critrate. Can use it on Encore also. And thats it . Hold your free 5star weapon box for whatever you need later on.

pull on the standard weapon banner instead of the standard banner with the standard pulls. I'd suggest going for the sword and pistol out of all the weapons, and if youre lucky and finish the choice banners, with the 5 star box, you'll have 2 5 star weapons in the first two patches of the game. The broadblade is good for calcharro, but i just spent money on the battlepass broadblade and plan to get that r5'd eventually, which is only like 7% less dps, and you'll have an easier time building characters with it. It'll also work for every attack based dps afterwords.

I'm picking the gauntlet (Abyss Surges looks cool) as Lingyang is definitely the current best user of them. I've been using a Hollow Mirage R3 on him for now, but that means when I use a team of Calcharo, Sanhua and him. Lingyang is swapped in so often with his intro skill the moment he has his Liberation ready to activate the effect of the weapon and go into Lion state. So when I do get the weapon he'll be able to be more of a main dps. If I had Jiaxyn would rather just give her Marcato (the one Ceaseless Aria don't have). My Calcharo is using Helios Cleaver and got Jiyan's sig so don't have much need for the broadsword, then the rectifier is a pass for me due to getting via battle pass Augment which plan to R5 for my Encore and while I'm tempted for the gun Cadenza been doing just fine for my S6 Mortefi and do have a lot of sword options but is tempting too still so going to have to decide between the latter two for standard weapon banner (leaning more for the sword).

for standard banner pulls it is advised that you go for the weapon banner due to the cracked stats and effects

I'll also reach 45 in a couple of days, my thought process is that since I have both Jiyan and Calcharo/Yinlin, I don't have much use case for Havoc Rover right now, however I do use Mortefi with Jiyan, which probably means I will benefit with the pistol more right now; I'll be choosing the pistol, and I'll be pulling for the sword in the banner (I'm 43 pulls in so that's close too)

I actually got the sword form the banner..just slapped it into my havoc rover now has 75 crit and 190 crit dmg he can do tons of dmg..im not even union lvl 40 yet..might as well go for the gun next.

I got extremely lucky and already got the 5* broadblade and gun, and rn trying to get lucky again with the rectifier or will choose rectifier from box when I get to lvl45. Whichever comes first.

The real question is what do you do with the second time you get a 5-star choice. First time it's optimal to choose the Sword, but should you get another copy or go for the gun, considering there is still not a great fair share of units who'll make great use of it (considering it can be an investment for the future). Other than that going for something like the Broadblade if you have several units and haven't pulled in the weapon banner (like Calcharo + Jiyan or if you'll pull for Jinghsi) could be the way to go.

Question: if you got really lucky and got the sword and gun in a 10 pull. You've got Jiyans broadsword and you did end up buying battle pass and got augmentation for your Yinlin. Would then, you agree w me and think gauntlets for Lion Boii for funsies or go for cons on the others? Or even the 5* atk% Rectifier for Yinlin?? (I know it's better the a low con Augmentation but I wanted the crit rate substat and I'm just battle pass so I won't make it to get her weapon) helppp

Personally I'm going with the long sword since Calcharo is one of my main DPS atm and for some reason I don't have a single 4* long sword. My luck with 4*s was pretty good so everyone else is swimming in 4* weapons at full refinement but my long sword users only have 3* weapons.

That's my plan after all, Take the Sword, pulled the gun on banner. Havoc MC is cracked. I love using MC so much lol.

The thing is that majority of the top teir dps are broad blade which are not crit main Stat, but it has 5 star stats which helps significantly for a damage boost for calcharo and jiyan

yes i have the same thinking here. i got from battlepass the autumn trace for my calcharo, my yinlin has her sign weapon. now its time to pull sword emerald genesis on level 45 selector and my standard banner is on gun cause CRIT RATE BABY

I already pulled for Lustrous because of Calcharo, then the gun for Aalto. At level 45, I will definitely get the sword because it's very versatile.

I got 2 copies of Emerald of Genesis at 14 pity and 7 pity again. Gave 1 to havoc MC but the other copy is free. Is it good to re-enforce it?

I think the obvious choice is the one you have a character that will benefit from the weapon now. Like for me, who is currently maining Encore, the Rectifier I'd say is a no brainer, unless you intend to a copy of the one on the current weapon banner. Likewise, the guantlets are good for our standard banner five star guantlet character, who likes attack for the shield strength. Then there is the sword if you are using Rover. Beyond that, pistol is good, because we won't be getting one of those on a featured banner for a bit, but also not great, because you're probably not heavily using a pistol user for damage right at this moment. At the end of the day, weapon banner I'd say is the place to spend your perma-banner pulls (after you get to the "pick the five star you want" stage, anyway), and you can set which one you are going for, so, long term, it doesn't really matter. Therefore, current use case or save the box until you have a good use case.

In my opinion, the crit rate sword or gun. Or deoending on your acc like you have more great sword like Jiyan or Calcharo. But i prefer crit rate weaps since its the best stat and you get it free. Though not guarantee if more free crit rate weapons are in the future.

I have Encore, Yinlin, Calcharo,Jiyan, MC, Danjin, Mortefi, Verina…. But I am not a whale, I only bought BP and Lunite Subscription. Which weapon should I take from the BP and from the lv Union 45 box ?

Also chose the 5*gun for Mortefi. However I only managed to get 1 copy of Mort from the beginner banner, 0 from limited. Then yesterday w/ 20 pulls on wpn banner I get 2 Mort copies.😮 No weapons. I've had the craziest/luckiest pulls I've ever had. Hmm...so this is what it's like to be MTashed. Now all I need is a hot wife😜😁

Whichever one you don't have yet. Cause its kinda easy to get all the 5 star weapons. It will take a bit of time but still easy.

Tbh, flat attack in this game is not bad. I’m not saying it’s better than ATK%, but is not just a waste like it is in the competition.

honestly my strat. is complete all the standard weapons since its easier to get than a 5 star character that base on your 50/50 luck, plus weapon is a good investment overall in my opinion

After 6x rerolling, I finally got lucky with my pulls Got Verina on the 1st 10 followed by Yinlin on my 20th Then got the Emerald of Genesis on the first 10 on the weapon banner Just waiting for Jinshi and her weapon and If I loose I'll get the broadsword for the selector Update: I got her at 30 pity... I haven't seen this mentioned but isn't the 'event' for the 5* weapon box expiring today? Are ppl going to get it once that thing goes away? I swear I did everything as a f2p, using all possible waveplates without refreshing and only just hit 45. Again the timer is saying this thing EXPIRES in a few hours. If it does do away I dunno wut they were thinking about who could get it without using those twenty solvents

so ive never been lucky with gatcha games. my first ten pull i pulled the aero monk girl, it then let me chose a unit to go for so i chose Calcharo, i did a ten pull and instantly got him. so i had alot of left over wishes like 30 i went and got him the lustrous razor because why not it looks like it would work better than jiyans. i tried to pull yinlin and i got another Calcharo instead so rip. i think I'm gonna get the crit rate sword for rover because he's kinda unfair

its not actually 200+ attack difference if you compare with a DPS weapon the support ones lean toward the energy regen but other purple swords have more my 70 broadblade#41 has 312 so it seems weapons have scaling stats between the 2 main ie less energy more attack and vice versa still incredibly higher attack on 5* just a little extra info out there
