Vicky and Sid are so supportive of Samantha. The way they smile, respond to her responses. Such gentleman, you can be quiet and respectful 💕 wonderful guys!
Here for SIDHARTH MALHOTRA ! Critics over the years have been extremely harsh when it comes to him and his performances. I am glad that he is finally getting his due ! People are recognising his worth ! One of the most intelligent, self aware, non problematic actor ! More power to him ! Way to go Sid !
@not now and u should know that everything has a new Beginning 👍 how could say like that ?? And I know Rajkumar is a good actor but 2021 is belongs to Sidharth and Vickey that's why they are here not Rajkumar rao 👍👍
@not now but bro , Akshay is not just doing patriotic movie , he is doing comedy , action, negative character , social, thriller .. he is now versatile actor from 90's look at his upcoming movie line up- [Prithviraj ( periodic drama), Bachan Pandey ( mass ), Rakshabandan ( family drama ), Raama setu ( historical adventure) ,
Vikrant Massey should have been included in this roundtable as well, in my opinion, his performance in haseen dilruba really stood out from the rest...
Sorry to say but Samantha as Raji single handedly smashed the Indian OTT space & completely hit the ball out of the park with her phenomenal performance in Family man. This girl Deserves all the praise!!
The best thing about this group of people is that everyone is so secure and confident in themselves, they talk about themselves without comparison and jealousy, it's a beautiful discussion!
1:05:30: Wow It’s heart breaking when Sam says that all her carefully laid out plans have been crumbled 😢 Sam should be happy and thriving for all the things she had been through.
Vicky Kaushal is such a wonderful actor. He deserved to get the best actor award. When he said that he had to give auditions in his earlier films, it clearly shows where hes reached now is entirely due to his hard work and acting skills. Moreover, he is such a good listener, articulate and seems like an intelligent man as well. Loved listening to him and his stories. 🙌
Vicky Kaushal has turned so eloquent in his interviews. You can feel the honesty in each word he says. Like, when he was complimenting Adarsh Gourav for his work in The White Tiger-you could see he meant it. P.S. he almost spat out his coffee when he heard he's working next with Meryl Streep 😂😂😂😂
Brilliant. Vicky Kaushal is so articulate, educated and grounded! Didn't expect Sidharth to be so candid. He is awesome. Tapsee and Sanya speak their minds, and, Adarsh is so "next door"!
After Hasee to phasee I have not seen any of his films....Seersha I think one of his best movie so far will get him recognition, otherwise rest of his movies are just average and flops..something is fishy about this actor..after so many flops he has been getting offers in good banner films..which other actors are not getting.. Might be due to Kjo connection or something else..I just find him good looking avg actor..
@@neo-noiranathubronthan6045 10 yrs in the industry before family man i suppose. Definitely not one of those replacable actresses. She will be going strong nevertheless She has played strong and dominant roles even before family man
@@abhilove2081 strong and dominant in the sense she didnt do just eye candy roles. She also did roles which were equal and sometimes more impactful than her male counterparts. u turn, oh baby , majili, mahanati lo koncham sepaina her presence was very much felt, super deluxe, rangasthalam
Adarsh is somehow mature than everyone in the room. He and everyone in the room knows he has pulled off some of the best acting of lifetime. You can just see him unbothered by those questions
Only here for Sam and Vicky. Absolutely love them. ❤️ And I love how supportive and attentive Vicky, Sid , and Tapsee were to Sam. So sweet of them. Sam, started from the bottom and here you are. How strong , compassionate, and an absolutely lovely human being you are ! Hope to see you grow more and inspire people. More strength and power to you.
Vicky was unbelievably sincere and sensitive in Sardar Udham!!! I loved him from Masaan and now love him even more The calm and discipline he has is rare and so damn necessary for an actor!
the pedigree of actors on this couch is so amazing, and ALL of them have worked hard & proved that they are worth their salt to be here! SO PROUD that actors other than the select handful are getting proper limelight
Vicky Kaushal is such a joy to watch and hear, and the PVC and Khel Ratna banter with Taapsee, and Gourav's anecdotes - everything made this one such a refreshing watch :)
Love the way Samantha is handling herself.Hope she comes out of this phase soon and would love to see ever smiling Samantha again.Lots of love to her ❤️.
Love Vicky's intelligent responses and Sam's originality...Sanya & Vishal are so innocent, while Sid and Tapsee sound like matured and experienced people.
Vicky, you've already achieved that 🌝 !! People like me watch films only because you are in it . You are an incredible actor !! ❣️❣️ Edit : Thankyou for the likes 🥺❤️
I will always like how Vicky speaks only when spoken to and is otherwise quiet and observant. He is a true actor, doesn't give away too much of himself and remains a mystery so all that we know of him is the characters he plays on screen. Such a treat for the senses.
Big fan of Vicky kaushal... Both on screen and off screen....On screen he makes it seem so effortless and natural and different in all his characters...and in all his interviews he speaks so normally and honestly without any pretentions...he is a treat to watch 🤩
Kat fall i lo e vkrishnaa brown munda allin one unique Hensley. An vgboyfriend vg husbend Taurus Best sign stable cL. Vromantic loving loyal caring kart also sa.e beatiful soul mates
All of them were fabulous this year. I also loved 1. Vidya Balan - Sherni 2. Kriti Sanon - Mimi 3. Vikrant Massey - Haseen Dilruba 4.Parineeti Chopra - Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar and Girl on the train As well Taapsee Pannu, Sanya Malhotra, Adarsh, Vicky Kaushal, Samantha Prabhu, Sidharth Malhotra were terrific with their performances and hope to see all of them rocking in upcoming years too💯🙌
Sanya is such a breath of fresh air! Personally, she is one of my favs amongst the new crop of actresses! Ngl, I can see that she is heavily underappreciated compared to her other contemporaries. Wishing good luck for her future projects
Interesting point by Tapsee. We never labeled the heroes for being strong from scene 1 in every damn movie for decades, whereas we now associate 'strong women roles' with actresses like Tapsee, Kangana, Vidya etc. She is right why do woman have to be molested, raped, widowed, child kidnaped/killed or another woman in man's life etc for her to find the strength and emerge as the hero through the course of the movie. Excellent point! Never thought about it that way.
@Ryan You missed her point. Until recently, almost all women centric films were driven by traumatic trigger. Think Anjaam, Gumrah, Khoon Bhari Maang, Kya Kehna, Shakti etc. My favorite woman 'hero' film where the actress is carrying the bulk of the film, which was also marketed as such (and no tragic trigger of course) is Jab We Met followed by Queen.
But why does she needs to say it again and again? She never proved herself as this strong woman neither in real life nor in reel life (mediocre performances)
Public want to see hero in a film.. they are inspired and looking forward to hero's character.. no one is going to theatre to watch heorine.. heroine is casted to the film for adding some extra masala or love angel that's it..
The way Vicky's eyes were charming with pride everytime Adarsh was being praised for his performance.. Man! such a genuine and selfless person.. very rare...
Taapsee and Samantha❤️ It feels so good when two strong and successful women support each other. Really looking forward to the movie that Taapsee’s producing for Samantha🥺😍
Yeah and without praising it and giving the credit to the one who deserves:sid, some dumb people from ur country are commenting shit in this cs too.which is so sad
21:15 Vicky and Katrina talked about this during their tapecast interview and I think he’s just defending his beau. Btw I do think Katrina is a great actress, she’s just reserved in her performances. I think her recent fearless phase shows her growth. Her past few performances have been amazing.
In my opinion, Sidharth already had a large fandom mainly because of his looks (sad but true and yes his previous performances were also good) but his performance in Shershah was just outstanding and only after that people have started respecting him as an actor.
@@apeksharao6 Although Sidharth's performances in movies like A Gentleman and Baar Baar Dekho were not that outstanding, but I still like those movies and think that they deserve more than actually what they got !!!
Adarsh Gourav is so genuinely brilliant committed to his craft, alongside being extremely humble and down to earth. I just know he's going to go on to do absolutely amazing things in the future!
Best Acting performance this year is definitely by Vicky Kaushal in Udham Singh. He just lived the character. Siddharth was also good. Actually everyone here did a great job.
The warmth this interview had was so beautiful..like you could feel admiration in everyone's eyes for each other. Also tapsee talking about being hero from the first frame..man much needed..something everyone should talk more about...imagine mare of easttown being made in india; we literally want something like that. Also Gourav's a charmer...looking forward to watch more of him.
Tapsee was loud and a bit cocky in this interview. If you want to judge someone's communication skills (7% verbal & 93% non verbal) watch their active listening, tone and body language.
@@manisshthakur621 sab professional ban gaye hai kya aaj kal 😭 just enjoy the interview man, everything doesn't need to be criticized and put under a microscope
I really liked the way Sidharth was praising Samantha's work in Family Man 2..I hope they work in a movie or web series together...Or tapsee and Samantha ki movie mein Sid and vicky kash cast ho😅
39:26 to 39:50 I don't know why no one in the comment section is talking about this. I mean, Vicky put it so well and probably gave one of the reasons why mysoginistic films like Arjun Reddy are criticized a lot. I can keep listening to this man hours together. Also, he's such a fun ball. >3
i am watching this pretty late but i can say that i watched "Govinda mera naam" only for Vicy Kaushal and he is so so goooodddd omg! So vicky you did achieve it and you are a star
OH MY GOD! VICKY KAUSHAL! This man amazes me everytime with his performance, his acting. Also, I love how grounded he is. I mean he'll still crack those silly jokes, he'll talk about the simplest things in life, never complicating or exaggerating things, he'll comfort everyone around him. On the other hand, when it comes to his job, his craft, he's very very serious about it. He has a vision, an idea, a reason, a motive and a meaning behind everything he does or says or acts. He's never like he has said it just to look cool or just very meaningful, he says those things because he actually knows about acting and means what he says, and that reflects in his movies, his performances, his actions and his everyday life. No offences but all the movies he does are different from typical bollywood movies. All his movies are so different from each other. That is when we call an actor versatile. God I'm so surprised to see how this human functions. He is that one actor who makes the most sense. He's very very very relatable. He's a gentleman, he's charming and his small attributes attract me towards him. Earlier, he just seemed to me a good looking guy, sweet man and I loved to see him, but as I started seeing his movies he just surprised me with something new everytime. And slowly along with the love, he earned my respect too. Love to him for being the sweetest human being he is and respect for being the brilliant (best for me) actor he is. I can proudly say I have the best idol. No wonder why I fell for him ☺️❤️ All the love to him, straight from the heart 🥺❤️
Vicky saying that he mostly respects doing the supporting role also and that adds worth to his personality and worth to the film and not only to his CV truly shows his perspective also keeping a check to keep a balance btw major roles and supporting roles. Gem of a person he is! Also loved watching Tapsee. Loved all in the panel and have watched all of them somewhere whether Adarsh in hostel daze, Sam in movies and family man2 and many films of Siddharth. Make such worthy interviews with great, versatile actors. They r worth watching.❤️
Sanya got them. None of them could answer if they've been offered a role quoting "heroine ka boyfriend hai". That's so true, only actresses have been approached with such disgusting back stories like bubbly girlfriend.
Loved how beautifully Vicky talked about the equality in roles for men and women. That is the kind of maturity required in an actor. Also, I can relate myself with them ki kahin galat to nahi aa gaye...but one day I will sit on that couch and answer that question 🙌
I love the way Anupama ma'am involves everyone in the discussion and give ample respect for their views. She is one of the best in the business for interviews.
Adarsh Gaurav is in another level altogether, man! I admire Vicky as an actor too but Adarsh really stands out. Adarsh Gaurav is a BAFTA nominee whose fellow nominee was Sir Anthony Hopkins (winner), thats says it all.
He starred in a Hollywood film that's why he got the nomination. If more Indian actors star in hollywood movies then they might start dominating every award show
@@renudeepak1349 Not really, I partially agree with you, but it also depends on performances. For example, not every non-oscar actor are bad actors, on the contrary they are brilliant in their roles but gets robbed at times, so awards not always validate an actor's credibility . At the same time, there are many instances where many performances rightly deserved to win several awards . There can be many good actors but only one performance stands out to win or even get a nomination in an international platform. So, Indian actors can definitely act in an Hollywood film and probably would do a great job but not everyone can get nominated for international awards, so "dominating" is a very big word when there is a global jury and audience is concerned. Otherwise, I really wish that more Indian actors gets good chance in international movies and be successful.
@@renudeepak1349 good point almost every Hollywood movie featuring Indian actors gave them many foreign awards and Vicky is far far better actor.he has proved in his every work that what kind of actor he is
In the case of actors like vicky kaushal...man I have to separate the art from the person...I dont give a crap about what kind of person he is or what he believes in but dude this man is truly passionate about his craft and this guy genuinely understands the art of acting and potraying a character on screen...so enthusiastic about his work...thats what I saw in Irrfan Khan,Nawazuddin Siddiqui,Manoj Vajpai and Ayushmaan Khurrana and thats what I truly love about them...people that are true to their work...keep up Vicky ❤️❤️
Apart from everything else, the experiences, the hard questions, the subjective debates, the most I liked how Mr. Siddharth appreciated Ms. Samantha's work , be with an example or just being a fan boy of her performances.
