I have not missed one episode!! I even go back and watch some two three times. As I said before it is because of you and the old man I started back working on cars with my youngest son! Thanks to PTSD and injuries I had no motivation. Then one day after watching one of your Cecil’s I remember my childhood bible verse I had to memorize for Sunday school one year. Matthew 16:18. I have been building my church everyday now with my sons and daughters. We recently bought my son a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee and got it back to running order and put it in a car show two weeks ago. Best part was when he was recognized for being the youngest person to register his vehicle in the car show ( he is 15). We are looking for our next project and my oldest son who is continuing the Military service of our family is a US Air Force Officer stationed in Virginia and will be coming down to help as often as he can. Thanks Rev keep the good work going and keep the Dad jokes going!

My Dad had 4 different 67 Fords,and then bought my Mom a 65.All Galaxie,Customs,or even the LTD.I had a 68 F100 for a while,but the 390 and trans were just toast.I sure wish I could afford your Galaxie.You guys did some great work and that,and it just needs some love,and to be driven.Those ride better than almost anything made today.

I wish I could a kept all my old trucks and cars like that. I always had to sell or trade what I was driving in order to pay for the next. I’ve had a couple dozen 64-78 trucks and cars that would be worth real money today. I had 3 early 70’s C10s they are gold right now.

Yes I’d be interested in the Ford Granada In a video especially when you get it running to power wash it to see if the paint will clean up. Since the Granada body may be damage take the 302 and transmission and swap it in the Ford Courier pickup

I don’t blame you, if I had all those cars including my dads and finances was not a problem I would keep them all and try to get them all going one by one but sometimes some of them have to pay for the other ones so those last twoforts sound pretty good the 289 is a gas saver, and the 390 should go into a truck.

Well, make sure you get all your money for those cars, that 390 is a really good engine and sometimes you need a fallback motor to have in stock, you can always get rid of the body but it is a lot easier to store a drive train. And if you do save the dry train, make sure you put oil in the cylinders and put it on top of the hill so when the water comes the engine does not get stuck.

So glad to hear you're going to fix up the Fairlanes and Galaxies. That Gold one was probably what Ford called "Champagne Gold" back in their inception. Craig999 has two he calls twins as they were both that colour and built in California. I think they are all worth saving and reclamation for sure Rev! LOVE to see you give that one Fairlane the Thunderbolt build! They were one of the greatest cars ever built for sure. The Falcon with the 289 is a classic as well and just a fantastic looking and sounding rig in that combo when new.

I am going to have to get a shirt made with logo of "Good Lord, what a Ford". I had fun looking a the fleet and really enjoyed revisiting the video clips. Puddin was my favorite. The first car I owned was a 66 Mustang 200 sprint auto (with the original chrome air cleaner). The car at that time was only 9 years old and they were everywhere and could be picked up under $500. My Dad and I rebuilt the 200 and it was surprisingly quick. I`ll be looking forward to seeing you get the ole mans 66 road worthy.

The sixty four Fairlane had an orange breather that said 289 Special with checkered flag scripts on each side of the words. Most I seen had a three on the column standard shifter.

When cars sit in the woods, they will rot away. Take cars out of the woods to a pressure wash facility and then put clean cars in storage. On your dad's property, clean out garage, and use this wonderful building for car storage and repair. Make a video of you cleaning out the 4 car garage, and installing electricity .

if you have an old Ford truck with a FE 391, they have steel cranks in them. 391 steel cranks are worth a fortune! just turn it down to except a regular FE harmonic balancer and cross bolt the mains then go for 1000hp, put it in that little comet :-)

Rev, the first set of points I bought were defective. The car wouldn't start. I reinstalled the old condenser, nope. Then I re-installed the old points, it barked off...Because it's new, doesn't mean it's good.

I love old cars and had some of my own. I wish I could get the Galaxy but I don't have a place for it. I am recently restoring a 86 Ford F150 4x4 with 6" lift and size 33 tires. I recently had to replace the old original 302 engine because it was having a bad blowby and I got a 302 HO engine from a Mustang GT. This engine have a roller cam and 4 barrel carburetor and runs way better than the old 302. It needs a paint job real bad but I kind of like it the way it is.

a complete restoration of one car has enough content for a year or more. it also allows for broader content. glad your selling those two. old man could liquidate over half his fleet to pay for the complete restoration of several of his cars

It is the journey that we enjoy... Money isn't an issue especially for the Ole Man... We will get them going sooner or later.
