Looked at the power running cost of both machines and the PD pro is nearly 5 times that of the Blade you never see this highlighted(see A Face for Radio test for figures massive difference)

I don't have a blade, but I have the PD. One thing that is an advantage of the PD is that you don't have to finish the keg once installed. You fancy a different keg, you simply swap it out and put a new line in, no need to finish the keg, it can go back into the fridge.

Yeah, it works the same with the blade I guess.

I have had all three and the Pro in my opinion is the best machine. Love the Pros temperature variation, the Wi-Fi app and the energy saving options.

Blade looks better in my bar

My Pro was rubbish, volume gauge way out, never chilled to the said temperature, seemed fine until they started to mess with the app and software updates. Customer service became poor after Beer Hawk finished. Bought a blade much better quality and you can work it on offers for £2.50 a pint

Although I agree with all the issues the pro has had especially with firmware updates messing with temperature algorithms and the app being hit and miss, it still doesn’t change the fact that the offerings on blade are pathetic unless you are a lager drinker or into Strongbow. The offerings for pale ales and IPA’s is almost nonexistent which makes the it almost useless for me. The PD has far more variety in beef styles and is the reason I and a lot of others put up with the issues. If Beerwulf ever get their act together and get Beavertown beers on the blade it would be a no brainer purchase.

@@joffhall81 fair comment but I would prefer drinking craft ales from a bottle, many aren't suited to draft. I like my draft larger and the blade looks superb in my garden pub. The pro looks more like a kitchen appliance

I think that's a fair point but the software now is alot better and to be honest I've not had any issues with mine. But thanks for taking the time to comment.

@@johnwisdom6137 I have to disagree as most craft beers are produced to be in cask or keg (mainly cask as they are usually not bright beers) as that is the best condition for them. Bottles/cans for any beer is more for convenience so that you can still enjoy your favourite beers at home. I do agree the aesthetics of the blade trump the PD in a home bar or beer shed but my PD’s look perfectly at home in my kitchen where the blade would look out of place (and probably wouldn’t fit) and for beer styles and choice it’s a no brainer the PD Trumps the blade all day long.

Have had the pro machine since first released and never had any issues with it.

Prices on these are insane for me. If you watch a few RU-vid vides you can learn how to build your home draft set up. The price of the beer is considerably cheaper that way too.

Yeah we might need to have a chat! I'd be really interested in that.

@@Chrisandhisreviews Yeah can certainly show you something. It might be a little larger - the quantities of beer you'll be buying are larger, but far cheaper. I set one up for my mate and total set up cost was approx £300...but then the beer works out at £1.10 a pint.
