Love the look of these shoes 😍 I noticed that with your black 'go to' pair, the insole was very darkened which makes me wonder about the breathability of the shoe. Do you ever find you would have smelly feet after you wear these for a day? Also do you wear them barefoot?
Great questions! I do wear them barefoot, but have never had any issues with smelly feet. The washable ones are by FAR the most breathable. The black "go to" pair were my only pair for a long time and I wore them through summer and everything, and you're correct... on super hot days, they're not that breathable. But now I have the washable ones for hot days!
@@TiffanyAscensio thank you for answering, that is such a great response. Would it be fair to say in hot days you would experience 'sweaty' feet moreso? I'm glad to hear the washable ones are breathable! Have you ever had any flat shoes before that would have caused this problem?
@@laurenmulligan7611 I would say my feet are probably "sweatier" on hot days than cold, yes. But I don't recall ever overtly noticing it! As far as comparing these to other flats, I would say these don't make my feet any hotter or more sweaty than others. I just picked up the new fur lined version and they've been amazing so far for winter days when I don't need a full Ugg boot.
@@TiffanyAscensio I don’t wear mine barefooted but what I’ve been doing for years is that I rub my toes under and over with deodorant stick. Then I put my low-cut-no-show socks and I’m done. I wear my birdies all day at work and my oldest pairs that I’ve had for a couple of years now, still feel like new. No funky smells. But if you have smelly feet you have to take care of that problem first before you try the deodorant. That’s what I did. Else, it’s not gonna work. Once you’ve treated your feet, then use the deodorant on your feet on brand new shoes and I’m telling you, they’ll never smell again. But also make sure to dry your feet completely after showering and before putting on any shoes.
