Which Bow Builds Are Best In Season 5? | New World 

Great to see some things in action. I was trying to figure out a gear set for the bow for pvp/pve for Season 5, but the video did not lead into any information to that directly. Still, great video. Thank you for doing that.

Great stuff! Appreciate the more positive tone of this one compared to all of the doom and gloom on YT following the S5 release. It's definitely a bit hard to get back in to NW with all of the bugs and what not going around, so having this little glimpse into what's going on with bow in the meantime is awesome. I think the duels showed what you wanted yea. I noticed you're running a lot of nature's wrath. How does the damage on that compare to alternatives? One thing that is a little weird to me about building with it is that you can't get the free 15% empower from the evasive tactics bow capstone because nature's wrath sets all dispellable empowers to 0 sec. Even with full harnessing/runeglasses and so on, you can only get 10+10+7+7=34% elemental empower. Might still be worth it on bow/vg though because that build can still hit empower cap (for ele damage) off of tether, which I _think_ still grants empower w/ nature's wrath since it's not dispellable. Also, is 150 int just not worth it on Boltcaster? Or is that the optimal choice w/ nature's wrath? For the Link build, I'd highly recommend trying medium armor with tumbler's if at all possible (not sure if this messes with the armor weights too much). There was a bow/spear build floating around in past seasons with much the same idea as your Link build. Drop all of your DoTs, then swap to a melee weapon to keep the pressure up. Very good for 1vX. Pair it with all of the shirking perks you can find lol. I don't think butcher would be best on that setup, but I'm honestly not super familiar with SnS perks. Pen backstab and maybe keen speed sound useful though. I'm honestly the last person to know what the meta is like but I doubt it's changed enough to make physical aversion worth it tbh. 5 conditioning sounds super helpful though. I'll prob never play the game enough to make "my build" a reality but if I was playing rn I'd do bow/vg with harnessing/conditioning/SH on armor and either 350/150/150 with attuned leather pants or 350+/150/sub 150 with the crit dmg reduction armor artifact. Then on the bow I'd put attunement/plagued crits/x. You can do this with the corrupt progenitor set, but I think the absolute most optimal element is still probably ice or nature. But then you have to craft everything lol.

Crazy to me that players who main melee complain about Bow users so much, personally I just think melee is to easy. You picked up a rapier and you just stick to people like glue the tracking is so easy like your character looks like it just floating and stuck on your target.

I’ll be honest I’m a bow main. Going over 350 Des IS NOT worth it. The dmg scale is so minimal compared to using something like 100 int. Plus your using shirking heals. Use 50 focus… ankh is good too. Your rapier and bow elemental will benefit from int. 350 dex 100 int 150 con. For a featherweight build. Wars would be 350 dex 50 int 200 con. Anyway good vod.
