Not only did my osteoporosis get worse with doctor-prescribed calcium supplementation, but I also got heart disease & kidney stones from it. My osteoporosis was initially caused by meds doctors kept me on 15 years which I later learned should have only been 5.
likewise . Personally i take Citrate with D3+K2 and Omega 3. I'm dealing with some calcium deposits: 1 on my liver , 1 in my sinus and i didn't do all body scans so there's probably more . Appearently my body pulls calcium from places it should be and putting in wrong places , it was causing me anxiety ,depresion, memory issues and lot' of others issues.( body starts panicking thinking it doesn't have enough calcium even thou there is). I'm on my 2th month of supplementation now and a lot of symptoms improved and I feel better and better. I tend to avoid milk and wheat flour since that is usually fortified with some minerals but since I'm not sure if it's calcium carbonate in it or other forms i stay away. Hope this can help someone.
@@cm1906 basically it's made from limestone rock and it's the cheapest form of Calcium it has high calcium in it!! It has been found to cause kidney stones and even heart attack when taken 1000 mg and above. The best way to get calcium is by food sources containing calcium,if taken in supplement form take calcium citrate but don't take too much and don't prolong it's use too, always take calcium combined or together with vitamin D3,magnesium(plz avoid magnesium oxide instead take magnesium glycinate),vitamin k2 mk-7 It has other side effects too plz watch this to know ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VCpbvwM-5U4.html
I wish, you should have mentioned about Calcium ORATATE which has nearly ' highest ' ABSORBTION. And one more important point is missing, only prefer the brand which has D3 combination.
Can you comment on HRT for osteoporosis? Body Identical hormone replacement therapy has been shown in double-blind randomized controlled trials (the gold standard) to prevent bone loss, reduce fractures in postmenopausal women and improve osteoporosis.
None of the current calcium supplements are soy free to my knowledge. I have given up reading labels. Each one those items you show has a soy based preservative in it or soy fillers. Since many people that are allergic to soy also have a dairy allergy it is not a good thing. The tums and rolaids are similar. I would be gratful if you could prove me wrong. Regards.
