Try small banana muffins and fill them just like the banana bread with a tiny bit of peanut butter ! Its super yummy you have this yummy soft muffin and a melty Center with the pesnut butter
A small suggestion for your videos @Tasty: Since, there are a lot of you-tubers out there that also share their recipes, instead of celebs you should try and include you tubers recipes! Trust me that video will do great ❤️ Love you ❤️❤️
i have used lady finger bananas for a lot of banana bread recipes, and it works out really good they are tart when just ripe enough to eat, and when they are overripe, they are so sweet and delicious they are also smaller and more moist than regular bananas, which makes them a quick and delicious snack
Anyone else think to themselves, "Those bananas are definitely NOT ripe enough for banana bread! They need to be brown and soft to make great banana bread!
Yaaassss!!!! They need to be overripe, almost rotten but not exactly. You know those bananas in the store that nobody wants because they've been there for a week? Those make the best banana bread.
1. Your bananas were not ripe enough for banana bread. I know for a fact that Chrissy uses over ripe bananas for hers because she was looking for some on Twitter a couple of years back. 2. These judges were awesome.
And she doesn’t measure 2 cups of mashed bananas, I’ve made her recipe before (and it was actually the best banana bread I’ve ever had, and I’m picky as hell) she says 6 over ripe bananas at least, not 5, 6. And that you have to use instant vanilla pudding; and she “won’t tell you what brand but it rhymes with Smello.”
I think for most people it’s the texture variety. The soft spongy inside with the dense banana flavor with the crunchy edges to change it up. But I agree, I love softer banana breads.
@@mystle in my experience you can get a similar effect to those shiny-top slices by putting fresh banana bread into a container while it’s still warm. It steams it ig?
@@mystle Hope it works for you! If not, try brushing a little sugar water over the top of it first and letting it soak 👍 either way I wish you good banana bread luck lol
It would have made this video so much better if the recipes were shown. Like it’s not hard to add a little caption saying how much of each thing was used...
Love the junior chefs! Personally, I think BA Test Kitchen makes the best banana bread. Although, I do add cinnamon and pecans or walnuts to that recipe.
If your bananas are too ripe to eat and you don't have time to bake, put the bananas in the freezer. When you are ready to use them, put them in a bowl to thaw. When they are thawed or mostly thawed, cut off one end of the banana peel and squeeze the banana out like toothpaste. It looks kind of gross but tastes good.
She didn’t even use the over ripened bananas that you are supposed to…you aren’t going to get the right flavor with under ripened. You can tell cause she had some resistance with smooshing them on Betty’s.
